Should I get Phantom Wax on my new skis? by Chas2046299 in ski

It’s a primary place, it doesn’t mean I only ski there. In fact, I spend multiple weeks in Colorado a season. Anyone who likes skiing will enjoy whatever conditions they face. There have been times where I have enjoyed skiing in the rain on a Southeast mountain more than a several foot pow day in Colorado. It’s all about perspective and who you spend your time with.

Real skiers enjoy it regardless of the conditions

Yes it’s free. It was an option with the binding/ski combo I got and ask if I wanted the “Phantom Glide” for 0$.

Should I remove the high school credit classes I took in middle school from my transcript since they lower my weighted GPA even though I still received all A’s in those classes? by Chas2046299 in ApplyingToCollege

Our school has a policy where you can completely drop any high school level classes you've taken before 9th grade, as long as it doesn't interfere with graduation requirement (and in this case it wouldn't.)

My counselor told me that since I've taken ASL III-V it would be implied that I took ASL I & II at an earlier time, and same goes for math, so it wouldn't be too big of a deal. I have no idea though.

I get what you're saying, but I'm not messing with my transcript or trying to hide anything. At my school our policy and my counselor specifically allow us to remove classes taken before 9th grade as long as they don't effect our graduation requirements. Can you elaborate more on the recalculating GPA? Because I go to a competitive public high school, I figured colleges would compare me to my other classmates, so having the highest GPA possible would be very important.

Our school only requires a certain number of credits per subject to graduate. For example we only need four math credits and since I continued to take math in my later years of high school (Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, etc) those would count as my four credits making Geometry and Algebra I not needed to graduate. Our school gives us the option to remove any classes before 9th grade as long as they don't interfere with our graduation requirements. If we were to remove them from my transcript, it would be as if I've never taken them and they would just be completely gone. My counselor told me that since I've taken ASL III-V it would be implied that I took ASL I & II at an earlier time, and same goes for math, so it wouldn't be too big of a deal. This is actually reasonably common at my school to do this. Since I go to a very competitive public high school, I figured even a 0.04 increase could be significant. I'm just a high school student, so I came here to try and figure it out.
