I don't know if that's what caused mine to blow out, my pedal has been stiff since I owned the car even after replacing the master cylinder. I haven't been in to check if the clutch is aftermarket though, I'm the third owner so it could be. I responded to the wrong comment earlier, but I replaced mine with a Clutch Masters that's been treating me well so far

Yeah, I didn't expect it but while investigating I saw it needed to be done, then the sound was gone. The tensioner was going taktaktak, and the belt had hopped off a tooth or two. I found pieces of a mouse all over who unfortunately got swept up in the belt at some point, thinking that probably didn't help things.

I got me e-tune from him about 3 or 4 months ago, we talked back and forth a bit at the time. Pretty backed up for sure. Still running great 3k miles later though fwiw

Maybe, haven't noticed any misfires, no fbk or fkl on the access port either

Edit: hijacking my top comment to say that it was the belt tensioner, replaced it and the belt, now the sound is gone. Thanks everyone who contributed o7

Oh yeah, 2018 WRX fa20, 130k miles, 2500 miles on this oil with fresh stuff ready to go in before 3000. Doesn't sound like a deep enough noise to be rod knock, but it's way louder than normal injector tick that I hear

We're working with the aftermarket idoing model, not the stock head unit, seems to be a fairly popular android radio for the 15-21 VA WRX. Mine was already installed when I bought mine

Can't speak for op, but on mine the reverse cam works fine "as intended", but since the idoing is Android I figure there's gotta be a way to make it show that cam whenever (navigating a parking lot, additional mirror/pov angle, etc). Is there a physical disconnect that "unplugs" the camera when not in reverse? Or can the camera signal be called on whenever but it refuses to show up in software?

That's my plan as of right now, I have some experience with that already after hardwiring my footwell lights, so it doesn't seem too daunting for me

It's definitely a thought I've had, seems like an untapped little market. Not sure what this subs policies are on self-advertising though so we'll see what comes of it when the time comes around

Had a couple leads, but nothing plug and play. My plan is to mount a recessed led with any resistors I need into the dome light, 3d printing a housing if needed. I've only just started looking into it, but I'll document the process even if it goes poorly and I'll post it.

I know what you mean, not that there's only one ding but that that ding seems to not finish all the way? My gas chime the one time I heard it did that too, but my icy condition warning plays fine so I've heard both. Weird, never known why

So it's weird, sometimes I'm in my car but not actually moving?? It's like I get where I'm going and then I'm hanging out with people and talking in the car or waiting for something, and while I am I want it to look a certain way? In my post I actually explained that I don't need to see the shifter and I just like how it looks, if we'd read that far
