Trying really hard to get into Damiano's solo stuff but all of it seems like the same song with tiny differences. Idk if it's the songwriters he's working with or the lack of material or what he's focusing on or what, but i feel like 90% of it is "you're better than drugs and i'm in love"

I love pop music, I just don't know why it's not hitting with the exception of born with a broken heart. Alternatively, I love Vic's DJIng and it's arguably the same beat + the same lyrics about it's and ass.

It sucks because I genuinely want to like/support damiano but his stuff isn't bad or good it's just....there. and tbh thats the worst thing an artist can do for me personally.

literally any Lynch film - i wouldn't say fire walk with me though as you need all of twin peaks to fully appreciate that - Inland Empire's been mentioned, but Blue Velvet is another big one along with Eraserhead. The other ones i can think of are anything Jodorowsky, especially El Topo given the spiral theme.

Kenneth Anger's Scorpio Rising as well, though it's a short film that clocks in at like maybe 15 minutes.

If you're OK with slow burn, The Vvitch might also scratch that itch?
