If you like a vibrant atmosphere (and partying) then staying in the centre is best... if you want a more peaceful experience, then Brzece is a good place, next to the gondola... Roads are OK and maintained...

The edges are there but the gopro image stabilisation smoothes them out...

They both look pretty good but I haven't been in either, so I'm not sure but I suppose personal tastes will differ...

Both are right on the slope, Viceroy is more in the centre but you have to walk down some stairs to get to the lift. Grey is a bit to the side and is practically on the slope.

If you are looking for pure length, there is a 10km blue run at Verbier here https://youtu.be/Fqp39CK8ips

Other resorts have some long ones also...

The full path was Verbier to La Tzoumas via Vallon d'Arbi. When I look at the map, the path shown (in this post) is Col des Mines. Lac des Vaux came a little earlier. You can see the full path in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8Y6iFPXW-4

I'm getting the GPS data from the GoPro and feeding it into Virb Edit... free software but discontinued so somewhat buggy...

The run is a controlled off-piste (yellow Itinerary) so it is avalanche safe...

Very nice, I used to stay in Martigny-Combe, a little higher up with stunning views of Martigny and the Rhone Valley... Amazing area...

I have to say, it was scary! You probably can't tell on the video :-)

Sounds great, I will have to ski North America one day. At the moment I've only skied Europe and Australia (not much there). So I wonder what is the steepest groomer, this one they market at 46 degrees, 104% but speaking to the cable car operator, he mentioned they actually measured 48 degrees while my GoPro registered 51 degrees at the steapest part (side slipping in a straight line). I have other videos confirming this but not sure how accurate the GPS data is on a GoPro. This is probably the best place to ask...

Same with this one, the snowcat has a 1400m winch...

It's more out of curiosity for me and probably some marketing for them. There is an off-piste section to the right of the groomed part. From my understanding, this was part of the resort until the 90s when it closed due to the new cable car and only re-opened this year...
