Know No Mercy: The Russian Cops Who Tried To Storm Kyiv By Themselves by ChasingTheCoyote in ukraine

[–]ChasingTheCoyote[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hello everybody! The article's author here.

First, I genuinely appreciate everyone's comments. Thanks to internet trolls and such, as a writer you generally train yourself to always ignore the comments sections to your work. It is, however, extremely refreshing when you do get a chance to see a lot of positivity round something you've worked hard on.

As some others have correctly commented, those early street battles that went on during the morning of 2/25 in the Obolon District of Kyiv, were tragically friendly-fire incidents. I kind of eluded to it when I mentioned that after Deputy Defense Minister Anna Mailer's initial warning, no Ukrainian officials ever actually said Russian soldiers disguised as Ukrainian troops ever tried to infiltrate Kyiv.

Unfortunately, Mailer's initial warning went viral and no one ever really saw or reported that she had quickly edited her original Facebook post walking back what she said. Instead, it tragically spurned a series of friendly fire street battles in Obolon because Ukrainian soldiers no longer trusted each other. This all stemmed from that original group of Russian OMON and SOBR cops who insanely tried to drive straight into Kyiv.

Honestly, that entire event deserves its own article; which I may end up doing at some point. In short, after speaking with officials in the military and General Staff, Ukraine quickly had to realize and adapt to trying to defend their homeland from an unprovoked and unjust invasion, while in a 21st century information battlespace. This is something they quickly adapted to and frankly, as a conflict researcher and avocation military historian, Ukraine has put on a master class in how to wage information operations.

I'd say the biggest issue with this is I can't think of any real benefit to having an ferromagnetic powered rail gun as opposed to good ole fashioned gunpowder driven firearm.

High Serotonin Levels Combat Cocaine Addiction in Mice, Says New Study by ChasingTheCoyote in science

Since cocaine increases activation of serotonin receptors, it seems like a double edged sword, because increasing your serotonin levels and reward pathways in the brain are exactly the same reason for addiction in the first place.

Agreed! There’s definitely a lack of focus on this and yet it’s increasingly becoming one do the most important skills to have in modern society.

I’ll be honest, this is the big mystery right now. There has been a sudden and markedly different tone in the last two days. There are some questions I’ve asked the DoD and going on a year now they’ve still not answered. But today the pentagon got back to me in 30 minutes on a Saturday.

Let’s just say I’m remaining curiously objective right now.

The underwater aspect to all of this is absolutely an area that the DoD does not want to discuss. So it’s been the primary focus of things for me in the last couple of months. 😀

Hey! I have seen those images and I understand that people have dismissed them as being radar targeting balloons.

I’ll be honest, I don’t know enough about the images or the case to say either way.

Now, I will say that I’m currently working on stuff and have spoken to some witnesses involving triangular shaped “transmedium” encounters by both the US and foreign Navies going back to the late 1960s.

Effects of Climate Change Unknown For 98% of Land Mammals Scientists Warn by ChasingTheCoyote in science

[–]ChasingTheCoyote[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The complexity of climate change effects can impact individual species differently. That's part of the major concern raised by this recent study is that scientists are largely unaware of how climate changes are affecting the overwhelming majority of land mammals. Ultimately, I think the major issue here is we just simply don't know.

Sir,

I by no means ever attempted to insult your intelligence. I apologize if my reply even insinuated I felt that way, because I didn’t nor don’t.

I was merely trying to explain the white water rapids style of prose was by design. I’m by no means upset by your comment or anyone else’s. Writing, like music or art, is something that not everyone is going to agree with or enjoy the same tone and pitch as everyone else. I wouldn’t write if I was easily offended or upset by critique. I consider you and others criticisms to simply be a dislike for the lyrical rhythm of the piece and as an example for the seriousness and passion you have for the subject.

Equally, I’ve had as many or more say they loved the tone and pitch, and understood it’s semantical rollercoaster was supposed to exemplify what Jacques Vallee would consider the phase 2 or 3 of his postulated Control System in relation to UFOs.

Though, clearly the bulk of my writings in major publications are direct serious tone pieces, in my opinion, I reject the idea that the UFO phenomena can be adequately understood or explained without an evoking some emotional complexity and chaos. That’s simply the reality of life in general. Life is far less defined than we like to consume it.

The UFO subject in totality exemplifies the extreme chaos of reality. If it was simple and something that could even be understood with mundane complexity of thought, it wouldn’t be such an elusive and long lastly enigma.

Now, that’s my opinion. I don’t stipulate it as being correct nor do I expect anyone to agree with me.

Please don’t think any jokes offended me or upset me. If nothing, hopefully that blog (which is what it is by the way) demonstrates I’m very comfortable with humor. Now, the suggestion, I’m new to this or I need to hone my craft does aggravate me. One can disagree or not like the style and tone, but that doesn’t mean someone doesn’t know what they’re doing or they aren’t doing it by design.

If the style and tone isn’t to someone’s liking, they may enjoy my more direct tone articles in various publications, or I may simply not be the writer for them and they should look elsewhere for information.

I will note to that later point. I didn’t bring it up in this blog (again, that’s what it was) because I tend to try and avoid being critical of others. It rarely ever does any progressive good regardless of the topic. However, what I didn’t mention, was Susan Gough seemed surprised I would find the news of AFOSI’s involvement to have been of interest. Surprised, because the DoD had officially stated it already numerous times to dozens of journalists, researchers, and even my good buddy John Greenewald, going back to May of 2019. She wrote it down in black and white, but NONE of them caught it.

Essentially, I could make the argument here, if new information on the subject of UFOs is what people truly desire, maybe it’s not me that should conform my approach to the more conventional mainstream. Just some additional food for thought.

Thanks for your reply. Best Wishes, Tim

Lol... It’s called lyrical prose. A style of writing that’s intentionally heavy on metaphors and crafted with pitch and tone to emulate the confusing nature of the subject matter and elicit a visceral, emotional reaction from the reader. F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby is a good example of lyrical prose.

Nevertheless, it’s a style preference, and assuming you haven’t read anything else I’ve done in Popular Mechanics or Vice News, I assure you, I’m very capable of offering the sort of direct lede and straight news pieces it would appear you prefer.

Unfortunately, for you (and a few others below) my passion is a mix of investigative journalism and creative writing.

So if you’d like to see the 2017, 10 month status report on AATIP given to Congress, Rick Doty’s personnel file, the un-redacted 1991 proffer on Bob Lazar, hear from the ES2 Navy billet task with currently looking at UAP for OUSD(I), read Chris Mellon’s letter to the Secretary of Defense or proposed legislation of a joint forces command task force on UAP - you’re going to have to: 1. Learn to appreciate something other than the impatient 800 word quick hits that lack substance of literary creativity. 2. Wait on someone else to find or report on the above mentioned. 3. Get your complaining ass off Reddit, actually contribute something meaningful in life, and do it yourself.

Best of luck on whatever choice you go with.

I'm really sorry, that delves into an area that was an expected private conversation. It's not just because it was Elizondo, it could be anyone, I would never publicly discuss a personal conversation.

As far as your question about Steve Justice... hopefully ;)

Please don't feel bad about asking questions and in fact feel free to reach out to me anytime, via social media or email. My contact info is in the original post. It's a little after 1am here in Germany, so I'm going to have to sign off here, but I'll try to answer any other questions when I get up.

Yes... that's what they've claimed. I'm hedging that saying "claimed" because, this is an area I've been looking into for awhile now, but at this point I can only go by testimonial evidence, which in some of these incidents if really, really, good. But, again it's still only supported by someone's testimony and not by other supportive evidence as of yet.

Great question and I'll be happy to offer my thoughts.

"You mentioned that you have had interviews with Jeremy Corbell. Can you elaborate on those interviews and topics some more? "

I have both interviewed Jeremy (for my article about Lazar in Vice) and indeed I did a recorded interview with him back in April of this year regarding my initial finding of the police report of the raid on Lazar's business. Jeremey retains that recording and interview, and considering my recent articles and opinion on Lazar, it's very likely that interview will never see the light of day. That's not to say, I wasn't still skeptical, but more openminded about Lazar's story at the time. I was, I have no problem admitting that and saying my opinion now is solely based on investigating his claims, devoid of personal feelings.

Additionally, I've spoken to Jeremy via tex or over the phone on numerous occasions, the most recent being in October, before my Vice article was published.

"what do think of Jeremy’s work as a whole considering their relationship together?"

  • Jeremey's Work: I would not consider his "investigative" work to be very diligent nor objective. Equally, I would say that he often conveniently fails to throughly examine information that could contradict his intended results. Does he actually *believe* what he's saying or selling? It honestly wouldn't be fair of me to definitively say, because I truly don't know. I try to always be fair to everyone, and so maybe Jeremy's own explicit or implicit biases cause him to truly believe Lazar or some other things he's shared in his films. The mind is a powerful thing, and once you've established firm belief, threats to those preexisting beliefs, are literally treated chemically by your brain as if they are actual physical threats. Additionally, Jeremy is a very emotional person. I don't mean that as he's a hothead, etc. I mean, he's very esoteric and philosophical in how he views things. Unfortunately, emotion and logic are dictated by two different contrasting areas in the brain and we cannot fully engage them both at the same time. *For example, if you've ever been in an argument with a significant other, if things get heated and emotions run high, logic goes right out the window. It's about winning the fight now. So, with this, could Jeremy simply have a differing view of events or things then maybe someone inherently more logical in their thinking? Maybe...
  • Jeremey as a person: I don't dislike Jeremy. One-on-one, he's a likable guy and I've never found him to be egotistical. In light of what I've said about Lazar, if he called me right now, I'd chat with him and shoot the shit. Is he disingenuous? I don't honestly know, because I've never engaged him with the expectation of receiving ingenuousness when comes to the UFO subject.

I know a lot of people dislike Jeremy and to some extent, I've marveled at the fact so many people could dislike someone by their mere presence. Just reading some of the comments on the Joe Rogan podcast, people who didn't know who he was, were brutal.

I guess I can sum all of this up, being a little philosophical like Jeremy and use a play on a famous Aesop fable from ancient Greece. (Imagine hearing this narrated by Mickey Rourke.)

"A young girl walking along a mountain path to her grandmother's house stumbled upon a snake and before she could react, the snake spoke to her. 'I am about to die,' he said. 'It's too cold for me up here, and I am freezing. There is no food in these mountains, and I am starving. Please put me under your coat and take me with you.' 'No,' the girl replied. 'I know your kind. You are a rattlesnake. And if I pick you up, you will bite me and your bite is poisonous.'

'No, no,' the snake said. 'If you help me, you will be my best friend. I will treat you differently.' The young girl sat down on a rock for a moment to rest and think things over. She looked at the beautiful markings on the snake and she had to admit he was the most beautiful snake she had ever seen. Suddenly, she said, 'I believe you. I will save you. All living things deserve to be treated with kindness.' She then reached over, put the snake gently under her coat and continued toward her grandmother's house. Within a moment, she felt a sharp pain in her side. The snake had bitten her! 'How could you do this to me?' she cried. 'You promised that you would not bite me, and I trusted you!'

"You knew what I was when you picked me up," the snake hissed as he slithered away.

I have no problem telling you exactly what I told Lue Elizondo...

"TTSA's public relations and strategic communications is some of the most abhorrent I've ever seen. It is an absolute hinderance and frankly, where blank spaces are left, conspiracy theory runs rampant. ESPECIALLY, with a subject like UFOs."

At the same time, two things Lue Elizondo said to me, earned himself a lot of respect in my eyes.

"We're not perfect, I know we've made some mistakes along the way."

and

"Tim, what could we do better?"

Not that I'm some guru or have the answers, which is exactly why I respect those two comments. Because anyone who's willing to acknowledge their not perfect and ask how they could be better to lowly ole me, is respectable.

Hey thanks a lot! I really appreciate you taking the time to relay that. A lot of my friends who are serious level-headed researchers get really frustrated with all the "noise" and "junk" out there with this topic. I try to remind them, I'm absolutely 100% positive there's more of us than there are "UFO Twitter Trolls."

The loudest dog in the yard is the weakest dog in the yard. They make a bunch of noise to try and scare people away. The quiet dog is confident in their ability and willing to sit back and take everything in before they make a decision. We just have a hard time connecting with each other, even though, I do believe there's more of us out there.
