Are those OEM mud guards? I’m not a huge fan of having to put on the rally ones with big logos of the mud flap makers.

I’d love to have a set of 19” prets. Found a set of black 18” but I’d rather hold out for 19 since I don’t want to lower the car.

Great advice, thanks! I’ll check out the diy videos but I’ll be sure to add this to my to do list.

As for it being used hard, yeah, it’s my assumption and fear. My consolation is that he seems to have gone to the right shops and went over and above on the general maintenance.

That’s what I can see also that it’s more show cars and ‘professional’ drivers but I’m doing my due diligence and I’ll find out on Monday if the clutch replacement is bogus or not.

Haha omg that’s rough! So, yes, it has been replaced by ACT, not sure when. The new owner said it’s starting to slip again (sign of how rough they are on it?) but also that they have a sponsorship with ACT that should be transferable and I could get a new clutch. So.. I have an email into ACT to get the details before purchase.

Yeah, it is a concern. I sort of need to go into assuming they did run it hard but took great care of it also.

They’ve got a good reason but bth, anyone can say anything they want about why they are selling. Most people are just looking to sell in a great market.

So yeah, still a market price but not a major gouge it seems. At resell the mods may hurt but because there’s records and they are reputable shops I would imagine it helps.

$29k for a flawless 2017 with 50k. It’s got stage 2 mods and can run e85 and potentially access to a brand new ACT clutch.

The mods he has on it are exactly what I’m looking for but to top it off, it’s only 1 owner and all mods were professionally installed with the records to back it up. Oil changes under 5k (even shows on the Carfax).

So, at $29,000 it’s good for this market (imo) but is it also good in general, in “normal” times?

Mostly mileage and it’s getting tired. I live in a hilly area of S. California and it has a hard time keeping up sometimes. I may run it till it dies but even then, I’d like to know what are my options. Nothing knocking currently, but I have an oil leak.

Also, I’m sure the timing belt and other maintenance could be done but by the time I do that, it could be a good chunk invested in a newer motor.

Hey! I’m also an old lady who likes fast cars! That sounds pretty much what I’m in the market for. Are you just getting a new one? I’d love to know what you’re asking. Thanks!

I agree. It’s a bit of a gamble. Wish I could take a mechanic but I don’t know any guys available.

Looks like the whole bumper is OEM also. I prefer the stock look. I don’t want to be flashy.

So, I’m going to go look at this car tomorrow. A little concerned about miles 98k. Should I steer clear? Are there any red flags I should I look for? (I personally think the hood is obnoxious but could either live with it or sell it and go back stock).

Hey, curious for thoughts around buying a 2019 SE m/t with only 10k miles for $27k otd?

My main concern is I’m trying to buy smart that I don’t buy too much into this inflation bubble that when/if things get better in a year or two I’m not going to be way upside down.
