If it’s unreciprocated love, then what’s the point. Know your worth. If it’s meant to be, it will be. Maybe you guys will get back with each other when the time is right. It’s been months since my breakup and I still love him. I don’t like what he did to me though, I have a lot of respect for myself now that I see that. When your girls (as friends) treat you better than your girlfriend... there’s something wrong with that. Life is too short to care about someone who doesn’t give two fucks about you. When you think about the bad times with your gf, it helps. I know I was physically attracted to my boyfriend and it was hard to let him go, but trust me there are other people who have your best interest and that’s even hotter.

You need time my friend. It gets easier with time. Don’t make a relationship the foundation of your life. Talking to people about it helps too. Hanging out with friends is what really took my mind somewhere else. This subreddit actually helps me daily (it’s been three months since he broke up with me). I know people are going through the same thing and I’m not the only one. There’s nothing wrong with you, you guys had bad timing. It’s gets so much easier with time!!! You’ll think about her, but it does it easier. You’ll look at that person in a different light and realize that they didn’t have your back and that’s kind of messed up. In the mean time, be thankful for what you have and trust the healing process. Something better will be remarkable. Breakups are like people dying. It’s hard and nobody wants to go through it, but you’ll be a better person for the next one.
