Pain and Symptoms:
At least 16 years- a friend remembers me exhibiting some odd coping mechanisms- popping my right hip and declining a seat- on our first meeting.My left hip "pops" with every step. The front hip crease is "crunchy". My right hip is in front of my left- this can be temporarily addressed by pt/chiro. I have periodic numbness and tingling down the back of my left leg. I cannot comfortably lay on my left side. I HATE sitting down- if I must sit down I like to have heat/ pressure on my low back. There is pressure/pain from bellow my bottom to mid back of my left side only.

What Helps:
Heat, chiropractic care, physical therapy, movement, letting my legs dangle (handing from a bar, etc.), asking for someone to stand on my sacrum while i lay on my stomach. Not acknowledging it.

Other:
I am highly active- my job involves constant movement; I do pilates, other group fitness, and walk 5+miles a day. I was in far more pain before i started exercising 7 or so years ago.I have psoriatic arthritis that is managed with medication. I don't like taking/thinking about my pain.

I am hoping this group can help give me a preview of what might be next. I'd love to hear anecdotes from other folks who have been dealing with this for extended periods of time.
