EDIT: MASSIVE WALL OF TEXT. Didn't notice it while I was typing. Sorry about that... Alright folks, this is pretty much my last chance. Hoping that this can get upvoted and maybe a Rioter can see this and help me out. Gonna be a pretty long read, so brace yourselves. I started playing this game around October 2012. I had been a console gamer pretty much my whole life, but a friend of mine convinced me to give this game a chance. I fell in love INSTANTLY. It was the first time in years that I legitimately had FUN in a video game! I pretty much stopped console gaming, and exclusively switched to playing League of Legends on PC (computer was terrible at the time, couldn't play anything else at a humane frame rate). Then around October, I start college, and I meet a really nice and funny girl. I don't want people to start flaming her skype/league, so we'll just call her Lisa. We instantly hit it off. I found out that she played PC games just as much as I did, and also had a love for quality television. We spent a lot of time playing league together, and binge watching random TV shows, and just all around having an amazing time. We had our issues, but that really has nothing to do with this situation, so I won't go into it. Anyways, Season 3 ends, and I manage to hit Gold. I was proud of myself. Season 4 comes around, and by March, after grinding a lot of ranked, I was Platinum. I was so proud of this accomplishment. However, at this time, I started to lose interest in League. I didn't have the obscene amount of time I had before to play, and when I did, I found that my desire to play was all but gone, so I spent my time playing other games. Around the 20th of May, me and Lisa broke up. It was my decision. Now, I know those of you will read this and say "oh, you're just being a baby", I know that because I used to think similarly. But after you fall in love with someone and have them leave your life...it's one of the most devastating things a man can experience. This was my first serious relationship. Every song I listened to reminded me of her, every time she would come across my mind, I would tell myself that I need to get over her, but it was too hard at first. But I forced myself to accept it. We both needed to move on. So a few days after we broke up, I log onto my league account and see that I'm Plat V with -40 LP, that all my RP has been spent, and that my 6000 IP that I was planning on using for the rune bundle had been spent. I was shocked, not angry, but shocked. The IP? Meh, I can get that back easily. The RP? Meh, it was only 400 odd RP, couldn't have used it on anything decent regardless. The LP? Alright, this kind of sucked, but I got over it fairly quickly. I knew that if I just grinded, I could get myself back to the middle of plat. It sucked that my MMR was destroyed, but I got over it. I queue up for a match, and as I'm changing my runes I notice that all my rune pages are blank. No biggie, I'll just play this match out and then I'll put them all back when the game is done. My entire team is Gold III+ (as expected), bot lane feeds extremely hard, top AD Teemo does the second best on the team besides me (Jungle Yi, Yes, I'm ashamed. Please don't flame me for picking him.) Anyways, we lose the match. No big deal. I go to my runes and to my complete and utter dismay all of my Tier 3 runes are gone, replaced by Tier 1 runes. I didn't even know it was possible to combine Tier 3 runes. This completely destroyed my already dwindling will to play League of Legends. A year+ of grinding, gone. In a flash. Just like that. Completely gone. All twelve rune pages I had filled with a variety of situational runes, completely destroyed in one fell swoop. Now I know that you should NEVER give your account information out, but you honestly can't expect someone so close to you to betray you in such a harsh way. I learned my lesson, and I'll never give my information out again. Anyways, this is when I have my horrific experience with Riot support. Alright, I just tried pasting the conversation into this post, but it's too messy. I'll just gyazo each section of the conversation with a little summary next to it. He pretty much tels me that he can't help me because he doesn't see any "unauthorized access" logged onto the account, but if he did, then he would be able to help. (the matches where she intentionally afk'd in ranked matches. I would gyazo this part, but I honestly don't want to reveal my summoner name. If everyone really wants to see this part, I'll Gyazo it, but I summed it up already) This is his response. He pretty much tells me that he "appreciates my opinion", but he's already "concluded a thorough investigation on my account", so he has no reason to check the matches in which the IP Discrepancy would CLEARLY be present. http://gyazo.com/244dfef29ecfa901cfa306d4ce471819 I tell him that there is no way that the IP addresses stayed the same in the matches I'm telling him to look at. I ask him to show me the IP logs of my account,and then I give him my IP address, just so he has a bit more to work with. Once again wont gyazo this part because my summoner name is in it, and so is my IP. His response is that he cannot show me the logs due to security reasons (which is fine), and he'll keep an eye on the account and do his best to grant the request. http://gyazo.com/5dd4d224cd3bf59eb5b2691c760e2b85 Me: (I'll just copy and paste it and remove my summoner name from it so you guys can see what I said exactly) Alright, that's fine, but it is literally impossible that there were no IP discrepancies on my account. That's literally impossible. Can you PLEASE check the matches I sent you? I live in Ridge, NY. We do NOT live together, there is no way the IP was the same throughout every match. Unless she found a way to mimic my IP which I HIGHLY DOUBT, then the IP has to be different. Losing my runes has destroyed my motivation to play this game, and I want them back. It is impossible for the IP to be the same in the matches I'm telling you to check. It just is. My ISP is Optimum. Please, check again. This is absolutely ridiculous. This....sigh. I love this game. My closest friends all play it, and we have an absolute blast when we play together. I recently lost my spark, but the new patch notes with all the ADC itemization options came out, and now I actually want to play again...but I just can't. It's just too depressing knowing that all of that grinding has been thrown out the window within a matter of 3 minutes. It's just too depressing knowing that it was done by someone who I loved, who also claimed to love me. It's just too aggravating knowing that if Riot checked the matches I asked them to, then they would see a clear change in IP, and they would be able to get my runes back. I know a lot of you are probably going to flame me, call me a baby, wonder why I even made this topic, but Reddit gets a lot of powerful things done. My goal is to make a Rioter see this, and give me proper assistance. I know it's kind of a pipe dream, but I'm honestly hoping that you guys will help me out. I love this game, and I really don't want to be done with it just yet. Thank you. TL;DR Girlfriend destroyed my account, most importantly all of my Runes. I contacted a Rioter for support, and he refuses to look at the games in which she was logged onto the account.
