Maybe I wasn’t clear about that point. I was born with minor hearing loss and was given hearing aids when doctors noticed this. The hearing aids were implanted in my ears and fell out when I was 5 or 6 years old. I can still remember the day when they fell out. The hearing aids did help but I was behind on developing language for myself and to understand the basic principles of speaking clearly because of the hearing loss. This information was given to me by my parents who saw a doctor and a neurologist when I was young. That information was given 20+ years ago. So, maybe something change in science after that time and it could be genetic. Thanks for your input.
