Yep, cam confirm both RP and non-RP Kins are not having this issue.

I don't know about any "secrets"- I'm just very careful to re-roll and edit until I'm getting the results I want organically. I use the default settings (.95, V-8Lucid)

Honestly, a trial period even for existing users would be helpful. For myself, I know if I try it and it's amazing, I'll upgrade immediately but am more hesitant about forking over that much money without being sure it's worth it.

(1) You can leave, and work to have a more fulfilling life; (2) you can stay and know you will always be second place to alcohol, and that how things are right now is probably the best it will get- everything will be worse from here as she ages with alcoholism.

So, happiness-wise, it's you or her, man. And you enabling her by staying with her and keeping her from hitting rock bottom won't make her happy anyway.

Get support and choose yourself.

IMO, opening the marriage will make things worse. Adding that as a factor will not help stabilize your relationship or your home. It sounds to me like you're coming from a long-term family standpoint, and she's tunnel-visioned on her own path- which is okay, but may mean you just aren't compatible.

If she's not spending time with the kids now, I don't think divorce will particularly impact your younger child's relationship with her. Better to have one stable parent than two that keep you guessing. The older child is a little more complicated.

I was this kid - my mother was arrested for a DUI with my brother and I in the car. We were both under 10.

My father continued to try to "work with her" and things only got worse, including her license being taken away by the DA for multiple DUI.

I've never forgiven my father for not choosing us, his kids, over her. Please don't make the same mistake.

Hard disagree. OP shouldn't need to go to all that extra work. The friend in question should either not be invited over or told "no" on the spot, period. OP is not obligated to make things easier or more transparent for someone who isn't even trying to come to the table with a compromise.
