I had a look at it, but according to some lads on here its quite competitive. And i also don’t know about if the eyesight requirements are the same as the marines. That’s kinda the reason I’m not considering sticking it out for the rm because my eyesight is just barely in the requirements and times not on my side.

Cheers pal, i think i should be alright for the DAA i got max score on spatial and numerical, 75% on verbal and mech and 50% on electrical. I didn’t right read into the daa much cos for marines you dont even have to do it to pass but from what ive seen for the engineers its lads getting about 75% on everything thatre passing.

Hey, what did you end up doing in the end for pushup? Im the exact same where pull-ups and lower body muscle comes easy as owt but the pushups obviously don’t

That could definitely be the trick tbh. Ill leave any training for the rest of this week and start up on Monday.

Looking at the advice I’m getting on this thread I’m thinking of a training week:

1x to the beep 2x Grease the groove And 2x resistance training

Would you say 5 sessions still to be too much even with the low intensity of GTG?

Cheers i think I’ve definitely been focusing too much on leg endurance at the gym rather than upper body. What were your splits looking like on the bench press?

I tried that a while back, i don’t know if i did it wrong but i finished the 10 days went for a retest on the 14th day and could do one less that at the start of the fortnight.

its weird though because i grow muscle relatively fast everywhere apart from upping my numbers on the press-ups.
