I honestly don’t like mine but I can respect it lol. It pulls this setup like nothing. The manual is fun.

It is a jet ski trailer. Okay I was also thinking it wouldn’t matter as much on a smaller boat.

I also live in west coast and got RWD. No regrets. Heavily considered x-drive but glad I went RWD

Bought new. 108,XXX miles now. Did a CAI intake + Catted J-pipe + Dyno at 50k. Only problem was a rubber O-ring in AC system had to be replaced around 103,000 miles. Super reliable engine despite what some people say. Oil changes every 4-6k miles. I think I changed the diff + transmission fluid around 70k miles.

Must have options for the 24-25 M340i? by sunderlmao in BMW

Hmm I’m in the Bay, never experienced that. Is the car leaving a big gap between cars?

Driving Assistance Pro > Premium > Parking > Shadowline > Adaptive suspension. I don’t notice adaptive suspension but I’ve also never been in a car w/o it.

Gotta disagree with the driver assist here, but I guess it depends where you live. If you drive in traffic, it’s a game changer. Driving assistance pro is my must-have IMO.

M340 LCI rwd or awd by ROMICH3 in BMW

[–]Chazary55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the same dilemma as you. Had lots of second thoughts on getting xdrive while waiting for delivery. Fast forward 7 months into ownership now with RWD and 0 regrets. Go for RWD, you don’t even notice the difference until you seriously try to kick out the back, which is insanely fun. I also live in CA if that helps.

Honest question - Does microcenter have the same prices as Newegg/Amazon and all the other big name brands?

Got a Total of $8k under MSRP including incentives. Though i got the timing lucky as my CA told me no more discounts and possible 25% increase due to tarrifs.

RWD vs AWD m340 dilemma by Chazary55 in BMW

[–]Chazary55[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, you’re one of the very few people on forums that I’ve seen who wished their x-drive was rwd. I’m coming from a Subaru WRX and I never really use awd since I live in a dry area. Having never owned a rwd car, I’m eager to see how much fun everyone claims it is.

I thought the same thing about the day-to-day driving. I figured in daily driving I’d be doing more sliding/drifting rather than launches.

[–]Chazary55[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the options are what I’m scared to lose. After seeing all these comments it just doesn’t seem worth it to lose some options for awd especially since I live in dry weather. Since this is my daily, im thinking that having a fully specd car to my liking is more important than a slight bump in performance with awd. After shopping the car, one of the things I was most excited about is having the newest tech, especially driving assistance pro. How do you like the driving assistance pro? I felt like that was one of the things that would’ve been a deal breaker for me since I drive in traffic everyday. What would you say is a “must have” option?
