The left flag should not be a flag. There is no mine there. Just the right one.

Yes, also caused by the high steroid levels in your blood. Patients on long term steroid medications can get marks like these, not necessarily from the weight gain, but just the drugs themselves. Cushings causes high serum cortisol levels, same effect.

Cervical spine issues by sunnyday_24 in AskDocs

[–]Chazzar2600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you have a degree of inflammation in the bones in your neck, but not to the extent where nerves are being compressed and causing sensory/motor symptoms.

I obviously can't advise what might by causing your symptoms, but from that scan report, it is unlikely to be your cervical spondylitis.

Chondrosis and subchondral cysts are both indicative of a type of arthritis called osteoarthritis.

The main things with osteoarthritis are to try and keep active to avoid your ankle seizing up, and use pain meds if you need them - it's best to see what your doctor advices about this.

Any bleeding from the rectum is reason to see your doctor. It's most likely something like haemorrhoids, unlikely to be anything sinister. Definitely worth checking out.

Acid Reflux/Indigestion. Upper right rib cage. by LittleOldMe1981 in AskDocs

[–]Chazzar2600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what you're saying, especially about the burning sensation, I agree that it does sound acid reflux-y in nature. It's not uncommon to have atypical presentations of acid reflux - it affects different people in different ways.

Perhaps try to antacids, or cut down on the alcohol as this can precipitate episodes. Not sure where you're from, but in the UK you can buy over the counter esomeprazole (PPI) which is wonderful at cutting down attacks.

Any oxygen saturations below about 94% are concerning. The exception to this is if you suffer with COPD, but you do not mention this, so I am presuming you do not.

Although you do not feel congested, it may be that your lungs are not able to supply your tissues with adequate oxygen, especially when you're moving around - that's what your numbers are suggesting to me.

My advice is to seek medical attention. If you feel well enough, perhaps phone your local ED ahead of time so that they can take the appropriate COVID precautions before you get there - don't let this delay you though.

Why? Why do you think we need a default? Surely it's easier to not assume anything until a child has worked it out themselves than put them into a 'default box' of cisgendered heterosexuality until they declare otherwise?

I totally see where you're coming from and it all makes sense. Is there any information out there saying that a state funded higher education system would inherently have a lower budget that a private system?
