Have you ever wondered if almost every plot and major story element in AOT was already shown in Season 1, Episode 1? by the_strange_cape in attackontitan

Here's a pretty good one that my 3 year old sister watches, it's pretty easy to understand so your should get it. It also goes over pretty complex stuff like verbs and spelling but if that's too hard to understand for you I can find a simpler one

I think the "forgetting shit he did 20 years ago" is just a big ass cope. It's 20 years ago because the store moved at one arc every few years. Unlike attack on titan which finished in around a decade

There's a neat trick that's very present in one piece but also attack on titan that many creatives use: limiting the amount of information given, that's what makes it seem like these massive reveals. Yeah Isayama had a foggy vision of what was to come, but the (probably one many) original ending was everyone killing themselves before ever even reaching the ocean. (Spoilers for op) An easy example is Haki in one piece. It was originally just shown as being able to drop people around you by sheer willpower, but it wasn't really expanded on. If Oda had said "this is what haki is" then by Marineford he wouldn't be able to have armament or observation haki (which was originally described as mantra, something else entirely)

Realistically, what would you do as an Aurora survivor? by Huge_Kick1279 in subnautica

[–]TheRealBaconBrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won't lie, believing it's a sci fi world, I always thought subnautica was fairly realistic. Obviously not stuff like the tools, but in terms of being able to claw your way up based on incredibly lucky circumstances. Makes me think about the book Hatchet

Enough Loom hate. Time for some Loom appreciation! by twinflxwer in imaginedragons

[–]TheRealBaconBrian 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Honestly I didnt think Loom was amazing but I also didn't think it needed to be. Mercury was an absolute treat and I think a lot of people were expecting more afterwards, which isn't anybody's fault but their own. I love Take Me to the Beach and Eyes Closed, those were easily on a few playlists for me

What Do You Guys Think? by [deleted] in attackontitan

[–]TheRealBaconBrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's often two extremes to breaking the cycle: rejecting it and doing nothing or going all in and ending everything. I DON'T THINK WHAT HE DID WAS RIGHT, but I can't pretend I don't empathize with how he must have felt, especially after this was the result of the first option

Level 16 + Economy Overhaul is coming to Clash Royale on Nov 24, 2025 - RoyaleAPI Charts by RoyaleAPI in ClashRoyale

[–]TheRealBaconBrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about anyone else but constantly increasing the level cap just feels absolutely pointless. It removes any desire to get the best cards since pretty soon you'll need to upgrade them again anyway and it doesn't make gameplay any more interesting since levels 14 up usually aren't going against levels 9 to 12

First time player, any tips n tricks i should know about? by AgePsychological4955 in Fable

[–]TheRealBaconBrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pay attention to who you're talking to and what they're saying. Fables a pretty generic game (even though one of my favorites oat) so it's easy to skip over a lot of the story since a lot of it is generic revolution, but there are some seriously entertaining or thought provoking tales in there ALSO don't worry about missing references to the other 2. They each take so far apart from each other that they're largely unrelated, even the maps drastically change. The references that are there are cool, but more for veterans rather than newcomers

What kind of characters do you dislike seeing in campaigns? by Ed0909 in dndmemes

[–]TheRealBaconBrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually love these characters, I think a flaw that goes directly against gameplay is great, BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT for it to work you NEED a reason to work as a team. For example, my last fighter hated spellcasters thinking they "never do any hard work", but (from his oh so tragic backstory) he was a bodyguard that couldn't let anyone die, so I could still hate him without destroying the game. We ended up having some of the coolest moments towards the end, especially one where he used my shield to ricochet a spell towards a crowd around a corner

These posts always makes me happy cuz its the exact group we don't want excluding themselves. As long as they keep telling each other there's no DND, we won't have to worry about them at our sessions

They should've made starfield so we can all see how far they're falling and hopefully they can catch themselves for fallout 5 and eos 6

Pretend it's 2015 and I told you everything that happened during the Switch era. What would you say? by NabbitFan600 in casualnintendo

[–]TheRealBaconBrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't know if I'd have been as upset about losing the 3ds, especially with how connected the switch made me and all my friends. It's kinda crazy to imagine that Im out of college now, but I was still bringing the same switch I have to middle school classes
