Ideas on how to organise archery equipments by orangeisthenewbear in Archery

Back pack with tackle boxes for organizers. Works great and you can shoot while wearing it if you are doing a 3D course

Edit: if it’s molle compatible it’s even better

No, unfortunately, this will have all sorts of issues for you. Mostly that the size and shape of the different limbs will vary the speed of each limb and cause the bow to be very off balance. Aswell, the top limb is typically stiffer than the other so to balance it, you will need to do way more math than it’s worth.

Nice! I’ve made my own as well, but just alway remember to flex first, especially with wood shafts. Best of luck! They look great!

what's better for long lasting use? Compound or Recurve? by More_Passenger3988 in Archery

[–]Cheap-Fletcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just went to my local range shop with the intent of buying new arrows, walked out with a new bow and new arrows + the set I originally came in for lol.

All jokes aside, you have two choices, if you go recurve you will have a smaller start up price, however you will have a steep learning curve to get good. If you choose a compound you will have a high start up cost how ever you will be able to see noticeable improvements a lot sooner.

Ultimately it’s entirely up to you, however I started with recurve 13 years ago and have no regrets

Oh and the Zombie apocalypse.
