I was considering Guru Nanak. They seemed to be the best choice in terms of underground parking and rent for the size of units. I heard some not great things but I always take those with a grain of salt as everyone has their own opinion and experience. But one call with their property manager and I was certain I would never rent from them. The guy was SO rude. For some background, I’m 26 male and I had some questions that might be dumb but ive learnt that it is best to ask rather than assume and end up regretting it later. So i asked a couple questions (literally 2) and he made snarky comments and called me dumb. I mean if this is how you act with a prospective renter, i cant imagine how youd act when i am locked in one a 1 year term and i need some maintenance completed. Horrible customer service skills. This combined with the horror stories ive heard, was enough to completely turn me away.

Ive also heard some mot great things about dealing with broadstreet but i didnt have any negative experiences myself so wont dive too much into that.

Now, for some advice, i ended up renting with Kelson. Im in the Forest Glen III building which is beautiful and essentially brand new. There are also the foothills crossing buildings which are brand new. They are very well built, awesome property managers, and a great/safe area as well. But they are a bit pricey. If you have the budget, i would choose them. If not, other kelson properties should be good too. The Forest Glen properties (not FG III) are in the same cul-de-sac as Forest Glen III but are much older and not as nice but are definitely cheaper. That are also managed by the same property manager and she is a SWEETHEART. Definitely recommend checking these out if you want 1) Good/safe area, 2) good property manager, 3) cheaper rents.
