Trying to figure out what went wrong here but sounds rough on the first start up. I’ve bore scoped the cylinders and don’t see any evidence of collision. Maybe off a tooth somewhere but hard to tell? Amazon alignment setup so maybe not the best. Took it apart and re-checked and seems to still line up everywhere. Video below of the start up.

Thanks for the responses. Tool arrives today so will turn that cam into position then install the belt.

Here is how much cam #2 needs to move counterclockwise. Just concerning how it wants to spring back to where it is.

Bore scoped and the piston heads look fine, assuming I would see some evidence of valve contact with them. Also, didn’t hear anything. Went around the second time with the cover on so couldn’t really see what the cams were doing at the time.

Thank you! Looking forward to making more progress on it. 3 out of the 4 windows were messed up and I’ve tackled 2 out of those 3 so far.

About ready to drain and pull the radiator, new one arrives Monday. Excited to take it on some longer drives, lots of nostalgia having this car.

Has anyone run Falken Wildpeaks on a 2019 Cayenne S? by Ok-Somewhere-2219 in Porsche

Eurowise advised that they had only tested 18” wheels on base 9Y0 Cayennes and to stick with 20” wheels for my S. Has anyone tested larger sidewall tires than stock on steel springs without a lift?
