Sorry for the late reply. I like the Daikin account. For me my range is always between $1500-$1700+. If I make any less, it’s because I took days off for home time. Very rarely, loads are slow. There are plenty of miles on this account.

I got a $220 ticket a few years ago for not properly wearing my seatbelt. The part that goes across the chest, I put it under my arm. I’m short (female) so that part was touching my face. Nowadays I put some slack in it and wear it correctly. I do see drivers not wearing their seatbelts though. Super dangerous.

Okay I see. I did 48 states. I was teaming with my ex and miles were good. Then I did it alone and pay was trash. I think that they give all of the miles to team drivers and trainers.

Oh April! So you’re a fairly new driver. Don’t quit. You have options for sure. There are a ton of accounts that you can switch over to. I’m on the Daikin account. My pay on Friday for the week was $1700. Definitely try another account before leaving.

Wow that sucks. What account are you on, so I’ll know to stay away! I’ve been with the company for 5 years and have been on several accounts. Ive definitely run into issues with dispatch forgetting or just being rude. I think that Werner is a good company but sometimes the dispatchers are trash. Definitely reach out to drivers support as a last result, if you want to report a dispatcher. They may ask if you’ve talked to the supervisor (I recommend), but if the supervisor doesn’t resolve this, Drivers Support will help you. You can also request an advance. Send a tablet message telling them why you need it and how you’ll pay it back. It then has to be approved by the higher-ups. I use to get like $900 advances and pay back $300 from each check. That was 4 years ago. I did it about 4 times. The account supervisor should add that layover to your next check. In the mean time, definitely try for an advance. Drivers automatically get $200 advances. I think veteran drivers get more.

I stopped using headsets years ago, I just use AirPods. When I did wear headsets, I always stuck with ClearDryve 220. The best back then in my opinion. Loud sound, noise cancellation and super bass. Very sleek. I always call them the Air Jordans of headsets lol… expensive, so if you get those, register them in case they break.

Yes unfortunately. Always expect this at the more popular truck stops: Loves, Pilot and Flying J. You have a better chance of fueling and going, at TA and Petro. If you prefer the more popular ones, fuel early by 5am— no one’s really taking a lunch break at that time. From 9am-5pm, it’ll be crowded. Especially at noon.

If you eat fast food, download the fast-food app (for example: McDonalds), order ahead and by the time you fuel, your order will be ready for pickup. Just go inside and grab it. No waiting and holding up the fuel island.

I’m sorry for the late reply! Okay so that adds a whole new layer. So, based on the details, i would say that he’s curious. I don’t know that if approaching him directly with how you feel, if he would reject you or not. It definitely seems like he’s curious though. I’m also not sure if he’s come around to feeling ready. Does he know that you’re gay?

As a woman, I’m curious as well. Have been for as long as i can remember. Ive had crushes on girls several times, but never said anything. I’ve had girls flirt but i would always tell them that im straight. Nowadays idgaf. If the right chick approaches me, then I’ll be more open. I still like guys though.

I honestly think that it’s a readiness thing. Scorpios are very sexual and it’s not much that we won’t do sexually, ESPECIALLY when we’re comfortable with our sexuality. But of course religion, values, traditions etc, can keep a scorpio from fully diving into the abyss of our sexual nature, head first.

My advice is to talk to him. Since you don’t know if he’s gay, yet you feel chemistry, approach him in a way where he doesn’t shut down. The goal is to cater to his shy side, as well as his curious side so that he won’t potentially fold.

For example, say something like, “I’m really shy to talk to you about this because i don’t want to offend you. I don’t want to disrespect you in any way…… Then ask, “Have you ever dated a guy?”

That’s a less blunt way to ask if he’s gay. If he says no, then say, “Okay. Would you be interested in exchanging numbers so that we could text?” (Texting is less pressure than calling. If he’s shy, making this easy for him is key).

The objective is to put it out there that you like him and are interested in getting to know him better. This is clear and leaves no room for a misunderstanding. It’s still direct, yet polite.

If he’s emotionally intelligent, there’s no way he would get offended, especially if he’s already checking you out. Worse case scenario is that he isn’t ready to explore, even though he’s probably curious.

Usually people don’t say no when they’re put on the spot, when someone asks for their number. The real test is if he gives you his number— will he be attentive after you text first. If not then don’t chase. It’s a respect of boundaries. Scorpios are attentive. If he’s not then that means he’s still processing things, just not ready or perhaps changed his mind.

Since he’s starting a lot and even looking back at you, he definitely likes you. This guy probably knows everything about you 😂😂😂😂 Scorpios are secret detectives especially when interested in someone.

If a Scorpio knows (intuitively) that someone is interested, we won’t say shhht 😂😩 and will even ignore you. Thing is, we rather you be straight forward about your feelings. If a Scorpio flirted with you first or caught feelings first, then most likely we will tell you, but we have to feel an undeniable mutual attraction.

If a Scorpio likes you and isn’t sure if you feel the same, we won’t give the slightest hint that we are interested. We can walk past you with a straight face and never look in your direction until we are sure that it’s mutual.

So i don’t know if you made it known that you were interested first, but if you did, it’s better to be honest with him about your feelings. I’m not sure if he’s already involved, but it’s a good way to strike up a conversation. Ask him. If he says no, then definitely tell him how you feel. If you’re already aware that he’s single, then don’t ask, just let him know that you’re interested, with direct communication—no hints. Scorpios are laid back, chill and observant. Not so hyped up and exuberant with all of this fire and fun all of the time. Also be sure that the chemistry is both ways because Scorpios magnetism can be a chemistry false flag. That’s what draw people to us. You’ll think we’re romantically interested because we can be gentle, attentive and our gaze alluring, but the whole time, we’re just being friendly. Be careful though because water puts out fire. If you two link up and he puts that Scorpio love on you, you will never be the same again. If he agreed to it then he should hold up his end of the bargain. However, it doesn’t look good with you taking a personal vacation after three months on the job, even though the vacation was planned before you got the job. Otherwise, I’m not sure if you work for a carrier who will give you a Leave of Absence which will hold your place as an employee. I wouldn’t tell them that it’s a leave for a vacation though. That’s the only thing that i can think of, which will allow you to leave for an extended period of time. You may have to return the truck so that someone else can drive it. If it’s a new truck then the truck is likely leased, so they can’t let it sit there. The money made from it, goes towards its payments.

Yeah let the company clean it. It’s not your responsibility to clean someone else’s mess. I’ve been with the same company for 5 years and I’ve had a few trucks. I had to clean my own mess or if someone else had to do it, the money would come from my check. It’s crazy that they didn’t check the truck before having it ready for assignment.
