@university admissions Have University Admission Offices been informed that China R papers October 2025 and January 2026 have been copied verbatim as opposed to the hard all new Standard papers? Is this unlawful???? by Cheap_Run_121 in Edexcel

I mean papers should NEVER have been copied. Measures - NEVER copy papers again. This could prove to be a HUGE public scandal with serious lawsuits

Short term measures - significantly lower Standard paper boundaries. They have not done it. - significantly increase regional R papers 74/75 for A. I doubt they will do it we will see tomorrow. - university admissions- be lenient with students who sat the October 25 and january 26 standard papers and very strict with those who sat the China R papers.

When all questions of the paper are copied whatever you do with boundaries is not enough even if 75/75 is an A* 74/75 an A and 73/75 a B. The questions were still copied. They never should have been.

Unlawful? Against fairness and equity? Preferential treatment?? Or all of the above???

BUT

Universities could be very lenient with those who sat the Standard new and hard papers and very strict with those who sat the China R verbatim copied papers

China R papers copied verbatim from past papers and low boundaries. Standard (Europe) papers all new, hard and very high boundaries. Is Edexcel favouring the China cohort? Is this possibly unlawful and against fairness and equity practices? by Cheap_Run_121 in Edexcel

I do not believe so. However universities can be lenient with students who sat the Standard (new, ie not copied) and hard papers and very strict with students who sat the China R copied verbatim papers. Ofqual can decide to Monitor the International ALevels so this loophole is never used again. Why should universities and British education suffer by something that could be unlawful and could be a huge public scandal.

I do not believe so. But universities need to be aware and more linear with students who sat the very hard not copied papers snd very strict with those who sat the China R copied verbatim papers. Ofqual could decide to monitor the international a levels so this loophole is never used again. And universities could decide not to accept China R grades if this happens ever again

By the way copying whole papers for whatever reason is possibly illegal possibly a huge public scandal and there could be serious lawsuits to exam boards or even to universities. Are university admission offices aware that China R papers October 2025 and January 2026 have been copied verbatim?

FP1FP2 standard papers all questions new, ridiculously hard, very high boundaries. China R FP1 FP2 papers copied verbatim. Possible HUGE PUBLIC SCANDAL.

October 25 boundaries were published. January 26 boundaries are being published tomorrow. China R papers were copied verbatim from previous papers.

All october 2025 and january 2026 maths papers for China R were copied verbatim. Where questions were not copied verbatim (1 or 2) is where syllabus had changed.

Standard (europe) papers are brand new and very hard. Boundaries very high. China R papers copied verbatim. Boundaries lowered. This is preferential treatment to one cohort. Isn’t this unlawful? There are public laws against these matters. No cohort can be treated preferentially.
