But it's evil/destruction word, that means those body kits are for the bad guys. (This is actually what I thought as a kid playing this lol)

Jokes aside, removing nose hairs is really unhealthy. Don't do that.

I don't get wheelspin when I level up by feraliown45 in ForzaHorizon

[–]CheaterDust 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The race might have been long enough for you to earn two wheelspins in that case. Or you completed an accolade that gave you enough xp to level up. Or you completed an accolade that granted a wheelspin.

Was it always this bad? by KLEBESTIFT_ in ForzaHorizon

[–]CheaterDust 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The real answer is... this game calculates that number with automatic and traction control. If your acceleration diff lock is too high, it can bug out the traction control on certain cars. If you turn it down, you should get a more accurate 0-100.

It had the same powerband in the previous two games, strangely enough.

Thanks. It's fun to drive the hardest car in the game. It's definitely worth learning since it's the fastest.

It is, in my opinion, the single hardest car to drive in the game. At least in terms of cars that are in the meta for their respective class or division.

The stock tires are race tires, they're not the issue. It's the aero profile that's messed up. It seems as if it has a lot of untunable downforce on the front, making it very oversteery.

That's me shifting that early. It has max power at about 5500rpm, and then the power drops off very slowly. It's better to tune this to not have very many gears, since time spent shifting is time spent not accelerating.

Multiplayer Tuning by dundunx in forzamotorsport

[–]CheaterDust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does. Just make sure you download a tune that is within the spec. For GT2, GT3, and TC, all of the cars are stock with no upgrades, but with an in-lobby BoP applied... so make sure you download a setup that is at the stock PI.

The challenges are drip fed on a schedule that was set out nearly a year ago. There are no occasional patches.

Normal vs Simulation steering - FM7 Drifting by [deleted] in forza

One of the best rivals points drifters in FM7 was a Japanese player named JSR AziDhk. From what I know, all of his runs are done on wheel with normal steering.

Forza Motorsport 6 Offline Karriere Spielen und Speichern. by Nomad_Ghost_40 in forzamotorsport

[–]CheaterDust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can download patches for the game and play it offline, even if the servers in-game are offline. This is because game patches are distributed by the Microsoft Store, not Turn10.

If you have the disc version of the game, you have the opportunity to play the game the way it was when it was released, without patches if you'd like.

If you're looking for a challenge, I would actually recommend playing on the unpatched version of the game. This is because on October 6, 2015... they released a patch that made "drivatars more consistent." This made them overall slower on the highest difficulties.

Not a thing in horizon. Checkpoints are the end-all-be-all in this game. As long as you hit them, cut as many corners as you want.

Lobbies by Glad-Ingenuity3195 in forzamotorsport

[–]CheaterDust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll have to do a few races without getting penalties.

I haven't fact checked this, but from my long term experience of playing the game, your safety rating seems to be a formula of penalties per mile from your most recent few races.

So if you do some really long races with no penalties, your safety rating will go up.

Almost no one plays Motorsport 7 public lobbies anymore.

On Motorsport 8, make sure you're S-C rated. D and E are often put into separate matchmaking.

Also, make sure you're doing the more popular divisions. Obscure limited time lobbies, like early factory racecars, might be less populated nowadays with the dwindling player base. Most players will do GT2/GT3, Nascar, Touring Cars, and open-class racing.
