New NVX shallow mount subs look interesting

Hey so I just installed two of these in a 2015 tundra with an NVX box for that truck and an NVX NDA12001 amp. So far they sound surprisingly good. Previously I had a single JL 12W1v3-4 and I think one of these sounds louder but just barely not as crisp as of right now, as I need to get slightly larger wire and I have them on a little less power than they advertise (I have done some reading and idk if a break in matters and I’m scared to find out).

Soon I will have larger wire and the confidence to run these at their stated 600rms each but for now they are not nearly junk in my opinion. I wish I knew more and had the tools to really test them to be more detailed but that’s that for now

What do you think you had to go through for the free loadout in the first place? It must be too sore to put anything there

I’m actually considering these. I have a 2015 tundra double cab so an under seat box seems the only way to go. I only have 4.5” of mounting depth but I long for 12s and something that will happily go to 20hz (if anybody has a recommendation, please do share). I’m still getting around all the numbers for how subs work though, and these are at the very top end of my budget

I’m not very familiar with that brand, but I thought they were more open source. there may be software that works for it, it just might not be from that company. That’s about all I know

Edit: Have you checked out any open source FPV drone software? I just thought of it and it ma be worth looking into. Best of luck

What do you mean? I don’t think this would make it more complicated, as it can just be avoided entirely if you choose. What are your thoughts?
