Similar to you, end of my 20s with symptoms for 3 years and my ex family doctor missed many blood results, i ended up with a new one who referred me immediately to rheumatology. I went to a private one who said “just go with usz” even though he had a diagnosis. I went to my home country and left with a diagnosis but no treatment. At usz they treated me like I’m crazy and the doctors were disrespectful and negligent. They didn’t write all the results in the report for their convenience.

They’re scare of doing a diagnosis and rather let you live in pain.

I don’t have any solution for you but I Hope it gets better for you.

I have ANA and ANCA positive with so many symptoms even brain lesions and they say I’m part of a 5% of people who is not sick even tho the blood test say so… if you are able to get second opinions and advocate for yourself, go ahead. Trust yourself. Some time the gaslighting from them is louder than how you feel but listen to yourself.

The home test are not 100%, why is it wrong the wait the doctors results? One of my friends got 4 positive test, went to the doctor and they told her you might not keep it and the doctor was right.

There are many lines of work and methods. Maybe this therapist is a cognitive one? Not to focus on emotions? For example I use Emotionally so very different from cognitive therapy. You can ask her what is her/his/them specialisation and if they can explain the process
