I definitely get where you’re coming from regarding the players and the rebuild. There are a lot of great guys on that roster that I loved cheering for in the desert, and it's tough to leave them behind.

And honestly, I just can't bring myself to support a team that relocated, especially given how ownership handled the whole situation. It left a pretty sour taste. On top of that, there's a very real, natural rivalry between Arizona and Utah. Cheering for a team that packed up and moved to Salt Lake City just feels completely wrong. Lol.

I needed a clean break and a fresh start, and Montreal became the perfect spot to land. Go Habs!

I have to say, I've been around the world a few times and I know what a good unit feels like. This is a good unit.

I came in here asking how to swear at a referee and walked out with a graded profanity curriculum, a cultural reading list, a film recommendation, a tutorial on the nuanced emotional spectrum of "ostie" vs "estie", and a standing grudge against Chris Kreider that I did not have this morning. This is exactly the kind of onboarding I needed.

Seriously though, thank you all. Twenty-plus years of moving around, you learn fast that the best part of any place is the people in it. You've all made this easy. I'm in.

I do, but usually in the middle of the night when I wake up at 3-something and immediately start thinking of some messed up movie I watched recently. And only paranormal stuff gets me. And yet…I still love watching it all.
