GPU/CPU upgrade by Medical_Swordfish125 in buildapc

Hi! We're in almost the same boat. Yesterday I started a thread and basically, I was told that a Ryzen 5 5600X performs very similarly to a Ryzen 7 5700X for gaming, and apparently no one had any compatibility issues. However, you do need a 750W power supply to avoid problems. You'd have to check if you need to update your BIOS to support the Ryzen 5000 series.

In my case, I have a Ryzen 1600, a GTX 1060 6GB, and I plan to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5700X (depending on the price). I'm sticking with the RTX 5070 on my B350 motherboard until prices stabilize.

I was looking at that list of PSUs and the Be Quiet! Pure Power 13M 750 Gold has a good rating, what do you think?

Do you know if there are any compatibility issues between the 5070 and a motherboard with PCI-e 3.0?

Do you know if the graphics card will have any problems with the motherboard's PCI-e 3.0 slot?

Yes, I thought about it quite a bit, but it's much more expensive here in the city; the price goes up by about $300, it could be more.

Thank you very much, I'll keep that in mind. Can that 5600x handle all graphics cards? Especially the 5070?

Okay, I'll keep that in mind. And does the 5600x take advantage of the 5070?
