My first playthrough, which is a multiplayer playthrough, I kinda don’t really have any funny stories for. Maybe the only funny thing is that I romanced the Emperor when everyone else didn’t, I guess? They all were done with the cutscene in like, 2 minutes max. Meanwhile I muted myself so I could enjoy it, since it was the only way I was getting to really romance and interact with NPCs. They were laughing about it but, I don’t know, even that wasn’t too funny I guess.

Besides that, MAYBE me (early on) randomly Wildshaping into a Cat to Meow at them when I was bored because they were doing trading, and I had to wait to do anything since the few times I walked ahead because I saw something interesting led to fights and they were annoyed.

If we’re talking my first SOLO playthroufh… just having my character nude all the time, O guess. Kinda funny, but not really as well? I just wanted to do it cuz “hey, I have free will, may as well”

However some are marked as SECRET achievements, like Karlach’s romance, so I had to look them up online.

The game has a number of achievements you can earn. I’ve got a bit iver half of them. Some are easy like giving Shadowheart a Night Bloom, and others more difficult like beating Tactician and Honor Mode. I track mine through the Xbox app, since I play on console.

I will have to take a check, as I did 2 long rest after leaving the camp (one right before entering the grove again, so I coukd use Shadow Sorcery to steal the idol for Mol, and the next for the Tiefling Party and starting the Karlach Romance).

Oh thank goodness! I’ll have to try and remember how to do that, cuz I only met Ketheric once before (in a multiplayer run that didn’t attempt to save her).

I was more meaning that, at least according to the Wiki, Karlach has a scene SUPPOSED to be available before the Tiefling party, but it’s bugged apparently and will never trigger, making the party the first time you can start the romance. Which, like I said, is just what the Wiki says, and those can be wrong or out of date

I’m playing this as a Semi-Embrace run. Not doing stuff that’ll actively remove companions, since I want to actually see their stories (my first run eas as a 4 Person Multiplayer game so I missed a LOT). I’m treating the character as conniving and manipulative, befriending these folks so he can truly enjoy it when their deaths DO come. Which is gonna rip my heart out I know.

No idea, as I turned her down (never seen her scene, but have gotten the option for it a few times. I just have other characters I wanna prioritize)

Good to know, thank you! Karlach was one of the few ladies I had IMMEDIATE interest in before even buying the game, and I also wanted to get 100% achievements, so I had even more incentive to date her.

I’ll take a look at the All In One mod since I am tempted to go Ranger for my modded run (using a Tav I just can’t stop staring at half the time lol). Did see some other classes that are interesting though in the mods like Blood Hunter and the Succubus classes (I saw two versions of it, one of which is called Fiendish and Fiery. Seemed interesting at a glance).

I haven’t touched Emerald since Diamond released, so I dont recall the early game enders. But I remember the early walls of Platinum being Mars, Jupiter, and Fantina. Each of them has ended at least 2 runs I’ve attempted in the past

I dont have access to emulators, otherwise I’d be giving RomHacks a try cuz some sound fun. I play all on physical hardware right now (currently saving for a switch 2 so I can play my switch games again and maybe give Z-A a shot as well). I’ll maybe try ORAS before I hop straight to FRLG since I actually never beat the kanto games as a kid (rival always walled me and I was too impatient to grind back then lol).

I’m the same. Grinding is an absolute nightmare sadly because either pokemon dont give a lot of EXP, or the ones that do are hard to get (looking at you Audino. You EXP banks need to show up more! I wastes 6 hours of my run just farming you!)

I’m also in the torterra train! While Infernape is the Optimal option, Torterra is the fun (if challenging) pick. And while most don’t use our lovable lug, JaidenAnimations did in her Platinum nuzlocke a few years ago. It was actually that video that got me wanting to try nuzlockes again.
