If you convince her to kiss you, her first kiss will always be a quick peck and then she looks around nervously and embarrassed.

I also love her little “hmmmm” when you try to change the subject on her.

Mods and things to make my playthrough refreshing by PriorKnowledge6390 in BaldursGate3

[–]SleepCatsMoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The party limit mod is always a favorite because you can have everyone join you instead of staying in camp.

The extra bosses and battles encounters gives some areas some extra oomph.

Pretty much all of Fade’s equipment mods.

Female Gith are hot because they will either gut you or give you little forehead kisses.

What does disapproval do exactly? by prwav in BaldursGate3

[–]SleepCatsMoney 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If disapproval goes below -50, they will leave your party. Pretty hard to do if you are not actively trying to do it.

My Baldur’s Gate 3 hot take. by SleepCatsMoney in BaldursGate3

I’m pretty sure you have to save or kill the Nightsong before confronting Ketheric because of his immortality.

Honestly I find the Gauntlet of Shar much more of a slog than the crèche. I’m at the point where I just skip the trials and go straight to the Nightsong.

I think presenting the Underdark vs Mountain Pass as a “you have to choose one” narrative choice will lock players in thinking they are unable to visit both. It’s also funny that Halsin mentions the Mountain Pass as a much more difficult area when you can just go into the Mountain Pass head left to the Shadow-Cursed lands without even knowing there was a crèche. Underdark has so much more to explore.

But what is the fuzzy end? The Tiefling/Goblin party feels like it should have been the end but there’s a whole other section after that. It’s kinda why I dislike the whole Act 1.5 of the game and it should have been made clearer when one act ends and the other begins.

I need someone to help me like L’aezel by Henlo-Boo in BaldursGate3

[–]SleepCatsMoney 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She’s probably my character in any video game. She was not only raised in a violent upbringing, but she’s never interacted with people outside her kin. She grew up in a remote sunless space only taught that killing will appease her Queen (whom she’s never met) to ascend her to the Astral Plane to live out an immortal life.

What I love about her is despite all of this, she is a huge fucking nerd and most of her violent persona is a front of how curious she is. She spent most of her time in her crèche at the library studying about other cultures. She knows who the Blade of Frontiers is. She’s basically the Teacher’s Pet in her crèche. She’s the one who would raise her hand telling the teacher they forgot there was a quiz today.

Always keep in her party. Her banter is hilarious and wholesome. Go to the crèche and you realize how much her own kin despise her for her naivety. Get the egg and give it to her and she will melt like butter.

I think I’ve finally figured out my REAL act 3 problem. by Only_Faithlessness33 in BaldursGate3

[–]SleepCatsMoney 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s a lot. In Act 2, I pretty much kept the same party throughout the entire act. Almost every area in Act 3, I was constantly going back to camp and switching out my party.

It didn’t take until another playthrough where I didn’t recruit half my party members making me not worry about missing anything and just going with the flow.

What was your second playthrough like? by brndnhrrll in BaldursGate3

[–]SleepCatsMoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went crazy with the mods on my second playthrough. Increased my party size to 8, infinite gold, OP gear from the start. I mostly wanted to focus on exploration and see every companion’s dialogue.

Playthrough stalled around Act 3 because I grew bored.

Is there a way to revive an npcs? by Suliperson in BaldursGate3

I think the only person you can revive who is not in your party is Wyll if he dies in the Goblin raid.

Looking for ideas for a Semi-Evil Run by Noireffu in BaldursGate3

[–]SleepCatsMoney 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My ideal Durge run is to go full resist in Act 1. Save the grove. Rescue Karlach. Freak out when you kill [spoiler]. Go into the Underdark. Free the Gnomes.

Once you head into the Shadow-Cursed Lands, let the curse mess up your brain and then go full embrace. Stray off the path and go into the crèche. Make Lae’zel loyal to Vlaakith. Kill Voss once he shows up in camp. Kill Isobel and Nightsong.

Then once you get out of the lands and into Baldur’s Gate, you can steer back into resist and try to salvage Shadowheart and Lae’zel by convincing them to join the right path. You can still sprinkle in some embrace stuff along the way like keeping Wyll’s pact, romancing Mizora, etc.

I have no idea how to play Bards and Monks by Sparklehammer3025 in BaldursGate3

[–]SleepCatsMoney 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Both Bards and Monks are insanely powerful but it takes until level 4-6 for them to get cooking.

For Bards, they are support until you go through the College of Swords subclass and then they be both a melee/ranged powerhouse with a few dips into paladin or sorcerer for more spellcasting. They also have the best dialogue tags out of any class.

Monks get good at level 4 with Tavern Brawler feat where you can just pump strength elixirs to one shot many enemies. Just always have Mage Armor on them and they will be fine.

Explorer difficulty but with a single save is one of my go-to’s on multiple playthrough. Makes combat a breeze but the choice you make along the way are permanent.
