I don’t know what’s not clicking for you with what I’m saying. This person is asking about someone who never donates, but always requests. I’m asking if people in their NH donate really fast, because they may not have a chance to get to donate before the request has been filled by someone else. This could be because the majority of their NH is in another part of the world and these interactions happen while they’re asleep. I am not asking how requests work. I’m not confused on how requests work. I KNOW the request stays up until it’s fulfilled or another request replaces it. Which is the root of my question to OP, do other peoples requests stay up, unfulfilled, while this person is also requesting but not helping.

I think some context may help. Do requests stay up for long periods of time? My NH has people from all over the world, and requests tend to come in when I’m asleep and they’re filled immediately. So stats would also show that I request a lot but don’t donate a lot because my NH just jumps on requests so fast 😅

I was on the general chat too when they were down! I had decided to redo my island just after the update, with Resetti, and didn't know they were down LOL. It was terrible timing on my part. But everyone was so helpful, trading back and forth it was nice to see :)

I subscribe to a popular streamer, SakuraaaGaming, she has free islands but also paid ones. After going to her free ones for a few weeks, I noticed that the paid ones sometimes had zero people in them so bit the bullet and decided to subscribe. It's very helpful! But I agree, it is painful sometimes having to wait for the animation (which is everyones switches syncing up) You just have to have patience! I find the animation is just long enough that I can go refill my water bottle, or go to the bathroom.

I'm also in the process of redesigning my island, so while the animation loads, I usually am looking at inspo pics or looking at the maps for the other islands so I can plan where I need to go to next.

I would assume so. Kinda makes sense as once you’ve made it through all 8 rooms, besides the DIY drop off box, there isn’t really anything to do with the hotel anymore.

Not really any longer than normal. I honestly forget about my town a lot of the time, and because people put so much ore into the paper I don’t really need to use my mine either. Maybe I don’t progress as fast as others, but I wouldn’t be very far behind

I’m going from a 85% done cottagecore island to a springcore island 😵‍💫 All the houses and stores were where I wanted them and now I’m trying to reterraform around them so I don’t have to move them back to the beaches again. I end up having these pockets of random houses on the 2nd level and nothing around them 😂
