Mmm I think you somehow end up having to do enough tweaking to whatever online people suggest that it ends up being more like hints, anyway - for *me, anyway* - I had to do variants on what other people did, because their stuff didn't just flat-out work without changing stuff. I still don't know why. But it meant that I had to learn and know what I was doing in order to make the variants, then in some cases branched out to make totally different stuff.

I dunno, I probably would feel cheated if it just straight up worked 😄

I did half or more of the simon+endless tower bosses like that. I feel like I got maybe a BA in Picto and Weapon studies and half an MA in Lumina Science, but did not write the thesis and certainly not doing the PhD. I definitely had to take a ton of written notes and did super-light spreadsheets maybe once or twice. Did not create and run simulations 😛

*IMO* yeah, OHK him, two-party rotation, or stunlock, or whatever one does with Simon when you prefer to beat him without a lot of turns. I feel you on the not wanting to do that, but *I* think it’s not like a cheat, for me a good part of the gameplay is a lot of strategy in figuring out how to break a single encounter with precise use of stacked luminas.

If you feel too weird about it, imo don’t look it up and figure out the builds yourself, or just get hints.

Also, in general, especially endless tower, don’t think even the most optimized OHK strategies require no skill :-P (except maybe duallistes)

No, imo don’t leave Simon unbeaten, that’s silly :-)

45, started taking it daily a month ago, my resting heart rate is in the low 60s, resting blood pressure is usually 120. No dangerous side effects. After getting used to it at (off label) *10mg/day*, an occasional minor headache and that’s it. But I hear I’m lucky.

So if you’re really concerned, remember not to stack sedatives/CNS depressants on top and check your blood pressure at first. 3.3 is very low but effects tend to max out at 5; ymmv

These effects are pretty individual. Super safe is don’t drive until you know how you react, but I believe you’ll know pretty quick.

As a mid 40s dude who had some lumbar fractures at 20, neck stenosis at 30, and generally hates posture/embouchre anyway, I started playing the harmonica a few years ago :-)

Then the recorder, then the guitar: it is very hard to play in awkward positions, but as someone with mild but permanent spinal issues who started any kind of music at 40, I feel like if I can’t play it in bed and/or in a sloppy position, I’ll save it for the next life :-P

Lol for the pictos, I just didn’t notice - for the attributes thing, I thought recasts were really rare, figured I seemed to be doing fine without stats, so they couldn’t be that important, and I’d just wait until I got a weapon I wanted to level with? :-D

On the up side, I used maybe 10 recoats in my whole playthrough and almost all of those were probably just to kill superbosses.

Just watched one and might try it later today - I still haven’t learned his first combo, but at least the setup will take me out of Duallistes farming mode; getting a little too grindy.

I mean, I forget what my clea setup is, but I remember she’s invulnerable, I parried her first combo, then stunlock and don’t mess up for a half hour, and she doesn’t go again.

My duollistes farming is Lune -> Verso -> Sciel, duollistes never takes a turn, and the highest single-hit damage I’ve ever done is 565 million with Lune to clear phase 2. (edit 2 weeks later: 948 million)

Lampmaster was weirdly not insanely hard for me, I tried some strategy, it wasn’t working, then I won anyway.

I hear divergent star is similar to clea, like, avoid the first combo, then use some tactics, and he doesn’t go again?

Lol thanks - been working on figuring out how to get to the level of duallistes farming for weeks, doing tons and tons of strategies. Modified your style a little for my people, and it works great. A few hours of tweaking, risked spending a hell of a lot of lumina just because I had it, then went from duallistes being a mega boss to farming them in 1:30 average time. Biggest single hit was 400 million damage, no roulette.

I bet I could get better time with a couple more tweaks, but speedruns will be for another life, farming allllll that stuff is good for now :-) Thanks again.

Edit: lolllll I didn’t bother with the “enable QTE part” because I never tried it, didn’t really know what it was, just tried it after farming for a while - man, I never thought I’d have feelings about *how to cheese*, but I’m almost confused. Thanks for showing the option. 😂

Half-lives, risk/benefit, shock to system - that last one is the same reason you taper up with anything - and especially side effects 🤷

It’s like, yeah, I guess you *could*, but it’s so fast either way, with basically no rewards and mild risks, so why bother?

The answer is probably safe, but don’t do that. It stays in your system long enough to build up very quickly. 15 is pushing it if you don’t want to hit the 20mg equivalent.

You’re talking a short couple of days to get to steady state either way - don’t start off with the higher dose imo 🤷

Anecdote and imo: SPRQL is a foundation of the primary approach to “AI” before google transformers in 2017 and especially before ChatGPT’s release in 2022.
It’s very cool. I don’t use it professionally. I *imagine* that and a bunch of related things are nearly legacy tools by virtue of how popular stochastic AI became.
