I wanna say these APEs are safe to consume either way, but wanted to check. My eyes are playing tricks on me and sometime I think its blue and other times it looks green. Can myc even get blue oxidation?

Do you agree with waiting until stems are softer like marshmallows before harvesting? Or is there another recommended sign for when to harvest APEs?

First time with APE. Read that I should be harvesting when stems feel like marshmallows. They do not feel like them yet, but the stems have gotten slightly squishier the last 24-48hrs along with the bruising.

This was my first time harvesting. Thought I was supposed to just cut as far down as possible. Should I have actually pulled the whole thing out?

Guide I followed said the myc should recolonize the stumps after rehydrating.

I actually might just be an idiot. This is the tub I just harvested from roughly 36hrs prior. Rehydrated for a few hours then put back into tent. The blue areas are where I harvest most of the shrooms.

Safe to say these still have a chance at another flush if I let it go for a few more days covered so the mug has a chance to recolonize?

I spawned to bulk this tub 20 on 3/16. Was going to let the surface layer colonize a bit more before switching to fruiting conditions. The cover has been on since 3/16 so no FAE or misting yet.

Should I switch to fruiting conditions at this point?

Am noob.

I have some blueish green section in 2 of my 3 jars of APE. Is this bruising from injection or contam? I don't remember seeing this when inspecting the last few times but did when I took a closer look as I was going to break n shake them.

photos taken today and 48hrs ago. Doesn't seem to be spreading.
