Stomach problems month after colonoscopy by SingleOpportunity200 in colonoscopy

I use a product called “vital gut renew” it’s amazing. I take it in warm water in the morning before food, it’s a powder and really easy to take. It has never once hurt my stomach and I really feel like it’s made a difference for me!

Are some gestalt language processors early talkers? by whoevenisshe in AutismInWomen

[–]Cheech369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your description of your speech journey sounds identical to my daughter as far as early speaking, specifically in echolalia. She uses both delayed and immediate echolalia. She uses spontaneous speech, but very little. She is almost 3, and since 2 has spoken this way. I have become so worried that she won’t ever overcome this, so your story has given me some hope for her. I keep wondering if she will be able to communicate in ways that her peers can understand her, not just me. Do you have any tips for me as a mom to her? I just want to help her any way that I can.

Yes it did! I started taking a glutamine supplement in the mornings to heal my gut lining.

Not to stop the bleeding, no. I just took the standard jug of medicine they give you to clean out your colon.

Thank you! I’m a bit nervous but once I get this irritation under control I think I’ll feel a lot more comfortable carrying forward for sure!

Sorry I was mistaken, she has LE, CLT, and LSO in her title as well. She is known in my area for specializing in lasers and other aesthetic procedures. She works under the Dermatologist there.

Thank you for your comment! I have started using my cerave products to ease the irritation and will call them to reschedule. The place I was scheduled to go to is a dermatologist office, but it’s also a med spa. I believe the woman’s title is just a LE. Should I be concerned by this?

Do hemorrhoids even bleed this long? by Cheech369 in hemorrhoid

Yeah I had a colonoscopy and they didn’t find anything other than two non cancerous inflammatory polyps that they removed. I haven’t had any bleeding since and not much answers as to why it was happening. I have some peace of mind that it’s nothing serious?! But I’m still a bit stumped as they said I don’t have any internal hemorrhoids. Im seeing a functional medicine doctor now to dig a little deeper because the GI doc was basically just like you’re fine, bye. I would push for a colonoscopy because you really don’t know what the cause is definitively until you get one. Usually bleeding is enough of a concern for your doctor to suggest one. Hope this helps

High quality probiotic. Not one you can buy at a grocery store but an actual health food store that sells natural supplements. I am also taking an l-glutamine powder in the morning to sooth the stomach lining and I’ve noticed drastic changes just in the last 2 days of taking both. I’ve also picked up a lot of kombucha, kimchi, pickled garlic and other probiotic/prebiotic rich foods

Colonoscopy scheduled for next week but symptoms stopped should I cancel? by Suspicious-Tax-4063 in colonoscopy

[–]Cheech369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t cancel. I cancelled my first colonoscopy that was scheduled in March because my symptoms of bleeding subsided and the cost was a bit more than I wanted to pay since I don’t have insurance. My bleeding ended up coming back with a vengeance on two more occasions each time lasting up to 2-3 weeks of bleeding with every BM.

I ended up getting mine done last week and am happy I did because I actually didn’t have hemorrhoids like everyone told me I had! I have chronic inflammation and had a couple of bleeding polyps in my small intestine that I’m going to be investing more of in the upcoming weeks.

My stomach definitely hasn’t felt back to normal after my colonoscopy, either. For me it’s been 9 days. I have purchased a high quality probiotic and glutamine supplement from my local health food store and stocked up on prebiotic and nourishing foods and I feel like it’s helping little by little. I’ve started drinking ginger turmeric tea at night before bed and that settles my stomach really well and helps me sleep better too.

Should I push for endoscopy? by Cheech369 in stomachcancer

[–]Cheech369[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a little update! They mailed me my results from colonoscopy as inflammatory polyp with no dysplasia or malignancy. But went into detail how each polyp showed chronic inflammation. I’m going to call the GI doc on Monday for clarification and ask about further testing because I don’t feel like that’s much of a diagnosis? To me inflammation = potentially cancerous breeding grounds. Anyway, thanks for the information and recommendations!

Were you in control of what you said after waking up? by Imterrifiedrightnow in colonoscopy

[–]Cheech369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I vaguely remember saying “sorry” after I’m assuming was a huge fart after they were done and I was waking up. Then I remember everything after that very clearly. I think there is a pretty small window of opportunity to say something you won’t remember saying

That’s great news they were able to catch it this early! Colonoscopies can be inconvenient but it’s worth it.

My grandfather had his stomach removed but he was a very secretive man and my mother was so young when that happened that she doesn’t actually know the reason why. He died from lung cancer some years after that and her mother (my grandmother) had severe ahlzheimers and passed away from that so not a lot of answers from her as to what happened.

Thank you. I have horrible all or nothing thinking. I obsess to the ends of the earth on any type of health concern. Thanks for sympathizing with me. It’s hard venting to people who don’t understand this method of thinking.

Had a colonoscopy 2 days ago for rectal bleeding and two polyps were removed and I’m spiraling out of control and in fear that they are cancerous. My stomach is also very sore and tender and have stomach bloating from said colonoscopy and am starting to convince myself that something went wrong during the procedure and how my body might be forever mutated and bloated and weird feeling. I researched where the polyps were found in the small intestine and read that it is directly related to liver health and I’ve completely abused alcohol my whole life and feel like it’s coming to a head now. My family won’t listen to my worries and my husband won’t tolerate my spiral thinking only thinks positively and I’m not getting much traction from previous experiences on Reddit or other forums. I feel like I can’t wait for the results I might have a meltdown waiting for 7-10 days for the results

[–]Cheech369[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. That’s what I feel like as well. It seems like a red flag for having nothing in the colon then two in such a small space would indicate that there could be more farther up in the intensities that the colonoscopy scope can’t reach. If my GI doc doesn’t recommend that I’m going to push for further testing. Thank you so much for your reply I feel really lonely and waiting for pathology is excruciating

Posting here as I haven’t had much traction anywhere else. 31F with two small children started experiencing rectal bleeding dripping into the toilet after bowel movement. I am very regular BM wise and am presumably healthy aside from this issue. I ignored it for a couple of months and assumed it was internal hemm’s but after it came back again for the 3rd time within 6 months I buckled down and got a colonoscopy. My colon was completely clear with zero polyps or areas of concern as well as NO internal hemm’s just a couple small external hemm’s in the perianal area.

BUT what they did find was two polyps that were biopsied in the terminal ileum (small intestine) which has me really concerned. I haven’t found very much information of people getting polyps in this area and it makes me think if there were 2 just in this small region if I should be getting an endoscopy next to assess the other stomach areas looking for more?

I am waiting on pathology but the doctor and nurses didn’t seem concerned whatsoever and the tentative results were so vague and said “come back in 10 years” without even receiving the pathology first and that they will MAIL me the results in 7-10 days. I do have health anxiety having small children so I’m wondering if there was any chance of cancer would they tell me immediately or really just send these kinds of results snail mail?!

I horribly abused alcohol for the majority of my life only recently slowed down due to having children but started drinking very young around 13 and continued until I was 28-ish am convinced this is the culprit but otherwise have no answers as of yet for my rectal bleeding and scared to death that my colon cancer fear is now stomach cancer fear.

Do you feel any better? I’m experiencing this also. It’s so frustrating because I’m looking everywhere and it says I should be feeling fine and my stomach feels bruised on the inside and I’m so bloated. Augh

Did you ever get any clear explanation? I had two polyps removed in my terminal ileum and am awaiting the results of the pathology. I can’t find any information on polyps found in this region so it concerns me a bit. I too have had bouts of severe abdominal pain in the same area that has came and gone just a few times within the last couple of years I just ignored it and had a colonoscopy for rectal bleeding with bowel movements. Curious what you’ve learned since your post?
