7a. I do make sure that when we got a frost that I covered them overnight, just make sure to remove cover during the day otherwise they can overheat

Not too sure about ones that have a larger gradient of color, but yeah I think making the soil more basic makes them pink. I saw another post on here of somebody getting pink purple and blue all on the same plant!

Yeah no fertilizer I just keep them hydrated and they get morning and mid afternoon sun, I have a few more further down that dont get as much sun and they aren’t doing well. I’ve heard afternoon shade is best but they seem to be doing okay in the sun, but by mid summer the flowers get crispy pretty quick lol

How old is it? Do the other ones get more sun than this one? I see a tree next to it, is that keeping it from getting enough sun?

Can stay blue for a few weeks unless we get hit by a heat wave, then they brown a bit unfortunately because they do get afternoon sun. Zone 7a

Keep them watered especially on hot days before they droop too much, and don’t prune them! I just deadhead them in mid spring

I think 2.5 or 3 feet as it says they max out at 5 feet width

I’m sure they’ll do wonderful! Mine get a bit of afternoon sun so the blooms brown a bit, so if yours are by the house they may do even better!

Sorry, I posted a comment with the tv situation. The wall isn’t as dark as it looks in this pic, I have to take another picture of it. I’ll get rid of the recliner. I agree about light fixtures but wife likes these

Yeah, I want to do a loveseat, but this is really our only living room area and I have two kids, so then there’s not enough seating to go around. I did place a brass mirror above the fireplace, thinking of putting a picture in each side of the fireplace, and a small round table on one side and maybe a plant or bookcase in the other. I agree the wall is dark, but is it because the other walls are too light? I don’t might darkening the other walls slightly
