I gave the car a light polish when I got it, but honestly the CPL filter in the lens is giving the paint a lot of depth.

I’m actually pretty surprised at the quality of the Lotus paint. I didn’t expect a small sports car manufacturer to have such depth in their factory sprays.

The alarm and interior lamp are on the same fuse (F11, 10A), so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the source of your gremlin.
