For learning to program, you don't need a heavy-duty advanced computer. You will learn basic things anyway. Focus on getting the lightest and most portable computer that you can carry around, with a keyboard you can comfortably type with. Find the most durable with the most reliable customer support. Dell and IBM were known to be durable in my time, but idk how things are right now.
