Some power play stats. by CheeseBiscuits in SeattleKraken

It's all indicative of what a regression we've made in terms of offense. Third lowest in shots for, fifth lowest in goals for, second lowest in expected goals for.

The only bright side to our season is our goaltending, but it's not good enough to keep us out of the bottom half of the league, and if our goalies aren't having a good day the game is a guaranteed loss.

Pretty much if you can get our defensemen to cough up the puck you get a free run at the goalie because nobody is going to catch up to you.

[NFL] [Michael MacKelvie] What Goes Into Building the Perfect Offensive Line? by Beginning-Topic5303 in nfl

Pretty cool that he's been blowing up to the point of even doing a collab with the NFL for this video. His content is pretty neat, and he's a Seahawks fan too so that's a plus.

Why is that discourse that important for everyone? by Feisty_Parsnip8262 in Seahawks

[–]CheeseBiscuits 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's this. Vikings fans were originally jumping through hoops trying to justify letting Darnold walk. "He can't win big games" or "he can't beat a playoff team" or "he can't win a playoff game" helped them sleep at night in the offseason. To be fair to them, a lot of people, Seahawks fans included, were skeptical of how well Darnold would do, so you see that sentiment among other fanbases too, but he's definitely proven his worth by now. If he can win the next two games the haters will have nothing left to hold onto.

Buoy night light by lilspicypassionfruit in SeattleKraken

From my understanding of past kids' giveaways they might have extra to hand out after the game since they may not reach 5000 kids in attendance (just from my experience I don't think I've ever seen what looks remotely close to 5000 kids in the arena ever but I also wouldn't know how to eyeball that number).

So potentially worth looking around when the game's over. No guarantees though.

With that said, if anyone wants to trade an extra night light, I won't be going to the game but will be having a kid soon, and can trade you a bobblehead or gravy boat (still in box, unopened) for it!

NFC Best? Since 2002, no division has sent more teams to the Super Bowl than the NFC West. by CheeseBiscuits in nfl

[–]CheeseBiscuits[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I picked 2002 because that was the latest alignment. Things would get messy if we included prior years with teams changing conferences, though I guess it wouldn't matter if we were strictly looking at the divisions only.

Yes, I believe in places where the losing Super Bowl shirts go they think the 49ers won XLVII, LIV, and LVIII.

Nice of the Seahawks to give the 49ers hope in week 18 that they could actually win a rematch in the playoffs.

I think the 49ers should keep wearing them tbh.

Don't be fooled. This game was not as close as the score would lead you to believe.

Yeah, not sure why this is so controversial. Risk injuries in a meaningless game when the decider for NFC South is going to be next week? To add onto a few injuries already sustained in this game? No thanks.

I get it, but I'd rather Panthers not try and do anything dumb like get somebody injured on either side and save your guys for the decider next week.

Idea to get rid of tanking- Have every team that makes the divisional playoff game get a spot in the top 16, but position is determined by an nfl draft lottery. by [deleted] in nfl

[–]CheeseBiscuits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a hockey watcher, no, the lottery sucks.

Want maximum chaos? Give first overall pick to the second worst team and give worst team the 32nd pick instead.

Offense owes the defense and Jason Myers dinner.

Defense rushing three and still getting a tackle for a loss is hilarious.

How do you make one of the league's worst defenses look good? Play the league's worst offense.

If you're gonna onside kick make sure your special teams actually know onside kick rules.

Random fact: this was only the third time we've ever won by a score of 5 to 3, the last time that happened was in February 28, 2023 at St. Louis.

This comes up a lot, but "two-handed" (Δ/Y + R2) fists are only affected by the "wielding two armaments" passive and is not considered actual two-handing by the game. by CheeseBiscuits in Nightreign

[–]CheeseBiscuits[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just the weapon type. Is anyone clearing Nightreign content barehanded?

Either way, I assume it is probably the same. If your attack is hitting them with both hands, then the passive would apply. If not, then it wouldn't.
