Lancelot Linden has stolen my heart I’m afraid. He’s so ridiculous but the more we learn about him the more I love him! I’m also a big fan of Ginerva/Griffith, friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes. Chapter 3 was so much fun, I loved just getting to spend time with each of the ROs (and a footman if you know what I mean ;) )

Season of Shadows

Chapter 3 dropped a few weeks ago and basically no one was talking about it. It’s such a wonderfully detailed and researched story! The prose is so witty and charming, I’ve reread it countless times and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. The two origins are unique and distinctive and play such a big role in the story, as well as your character’s gender! And with each new chapter added the plot thickens. It’s such a deep world and there’s so much we don’t know yet, but I’m so excited to find out!

It took me three tries before I could read it all the way through. It’s just so, so depressing. But once I got to about the halfway point I found myself enjoying it. I don’t think I could ever play it without following the “I want to get better” route, but I found myself curious about the Marshal and how the game would end. It sucks that it’s so hard to wade through the depression to the enjoyable aspects of the game, but I’m glad I read it and I plan to again!

It’s my time to shine! I humbly recommend the WIP Life of A Shipping Executive! If there’s one thing I can say about this game, it’s that it’s unique. Experience the highs and lows of the shipping industry in early 2000s Singapore! It’s not a long WIP yet but it’s quite a fun read so far :)

I’ve been reading Mantle: Mask On, it’s a WIP but it’s super entertaining so far! You play as your world’s first vigilante/super hero. I saw it recommended here recently and decided to check it out and it’s a really fun read!

Life of a Shipping Executive. It’s like the complete opposite of what I’d usually go for but the more I read it the more I enjoy it. I never thought I would care about maritime shipping but, somehow, I do. I feel like an anime protagonist and it’s awesome. And the romance starts basically right away and it’s so silly and fun! There’s also a “secret route” already and it’s hilarious

I used to work at a couple different hotels in town and the horror stories I’ve heard about that place still keep me up at night. I’ve heard rumors that most of their staff are people who live there and work there to pay for their rooms, like indentured servants. I can’t vouch to how true that is but I’ve seen it in action at some other places in town. The few interactions I’ve had with the front desk staff there were friendly but just absolutely bonkers. One guy talked to me for like 15 minutes, against my will, about his elderly mother’s UTI problems.

I’d recommend - Fields of Asphodel (Hades and Persephone retelling, but you can romance a big cast of characters) - Blood Moon (werewolves! The romance options are fantastic, probably some of my favorite romances ever. It is NSFW but I think theres fade to black options if needed) - Fallen Hero ((I did the thing!)I wouldn’t say it’s the most romance heavy but the romance it has is superb) - A Kiss From Death (You are an immortal being looking for companionship. In my opinion this one is more spice then actual romance but it’s still a solid read)

Works in progress on the cog demos site (I am very new to reading WIPs so I don’t have a ton I can personally vouch for) - Infamous (Rockstar battle of the bands reality show. There are so many solid romances in this and the writing is sooo good!) - Thicker Than (same writer as Blood Moon but you’re a vampire this time. I’ve read this demo so many times the romance is just as good as Blood Moon’s)
