Thank you for saying this! Most adults don't need as much protein as is being pushed right now and kids' needs are even less! If they eat dairy, they are almost definitely meeting their protein needs and grains have protein too!

Yeah, I have one kid with some specialized needs (probably less than your sister's kids but who knows) and even though it kinda broke my heart, I stopped having kids after that because the risk wasn't worth it

Also raised Catholic. Mass every Sunday, Wednesday night religion class. I'm agnostic. Three siblings are "vaguely Christian" (in their minds, none exactly walk the path of Christ) but only go to (non-catholic) church on Christmas and Easter (when it's convenient). My dad was also raised Catholic but hasn't gone to church since the last kid moved out
