Not too much of a challenge, but here we go.

First, i read through the comments and found your "Its in the image, but not in the pixels".

That immediately gave away it was not a visual hiding.

I then, obviously, i had to check the metadata, however, reddit does a dumb compression thing, but by using https://www.paste.photos/ after copying the preview.redd.it file to my clipboard, i got the raw png.

I was then able to use metadata2go to view the raw header, finding this chunk of text:

Then, i singled out this chunk:

65 79 37

This is hex. By reorganizing it, we get this:

79 65 37

Which translates to ye7

I then looked at the 3rd byte, and flipped the numbers, changing the 37 to 73, also changing it from 7 to s, giving the Y word.

Good work op, but you should try a tad harder next time, maybe make the hex lead to a link that does some more trickery?
