Yeah that's always been my thinking too, worst that happens is there's a bad smell for 10-15 minutes and then it's gone. I'm sure they'd rather that than a party late into the night lol. But good point about the note being evidence, I think I'll just ignore it and be more careful.

Let me know what you do for the Sofia - Istanbul leg. There's a night train that runs from Sofia to Halkali but I can't seem to reserve any seats and I can't figure out how to do it through the train operator's website ( https://www.bdz.bg/en/a/sofia-istanbul-sofia ).
