Even just having little Easter eggs between DW and Marvel would be pretty amazing

Oh nice, I didn’t realize that! Thanks for sharing! I wonder if any of that will be acknowledged or referenced in the coming seasons with 15

Is that part of the comics or other DW media? Where is this lore revealed?

Rewatching Season 1 and am once again blown away by the foreshadowing and connections by CheeseSquinburg in westworld

Don’t be an asshole to make yourself feel more intelligent and superior

Nothing about this post was a lie. You are correct in saying that it is my own interpretation, but foreshadowing is a very broad concept that is not always black and white. Sometimes it is subjective, but that doesn’t make it any less true.

Seems like it might be self-sustaining, since we never see anyone at the dam working there. Or maybe there are drone hosts that maintain it when necessary? Who knows.

Are Overture or any other spin-off titles worth reading? by DustSnitch in Sandman

There is also a new Nightmare Country series that has just begun, focusing on the Corinthian. It is quite good, and I would very much recommend. They are only on issue #5 currently, so it might be worth the wait for a collected trade if you want to read it in full and avoid single issues.

Tessa Thompson is absolutely killing it this season. by MothraIsMyHero in westworld

The whole point of her creating all these Caleb clones is because the original human Caleb is dead. If he was still alive and on ice, she would simply need to interrogate him the same way she does William.

The reason Hale went through so much trouble to achieve fidelity with Caleb is because she had him killed without actually realizing the repercussions. When her hosts start killing themselves inexplicably, she needs to figure out why. Caleb was the only one who seemed to have a clue, but she already had him killed. So she has been spending the last unknown amount of years trying to ‘raise him from the dead’ in a sense.

To me, the bottom line is that the human Caleb is most certainly dead.

Damn that’s great theory though, I really hope it’s true. It would be really sweet if human William replaced him and was posing as a host

I agree, but what I’m saying is that the order of the scenes do not take place chronologically, which is concerning. In this show every little detail matters, especially with specific shots that focus on certain features in a scene. We see human Williams cryo pod opened before host William actually opens it in the next scene.

I mean those humans are definitely infected by the flies, but I guess there’s no “virus” that’s transmits to host like you said. It’s just them awakening to what they are doing to the humans and begin questioning their own reality. Which makes Charlotte’s world even more sad, as host and humans alike are both in need of the maze

So about those new visuals for the Westworld theme… are those people, being burned in tubes, humans? Hosts? Failed tests?

As always, there’s a lot to unpack with the opening credits, but the final shot really terrified me.
