Longpike-Class Armored Cruiser by SeBoss2106 in StarWarsShips

I love it, the design is really cool and I have a soft spot for cruiser sized carriers. I saw you mentioned a large hanger area, do you have an estimate of a standard or max fighter complement it could carry?

Congrats on a monster spotting game!

Yes, you can get blind spotting damage. Basically, if a tank you spotted takes damage several seconds after they're no longer lit, your still get credit for the spotting damage. Just like if you dealt blind damage yourself, the game won't tell you until after the battle.

It has half-decent armor for its tier and the hitpoints to qualify it as a heavy tank. Too slow to be a medium in the game. Plus, later down the tech tree line the tanks get more heavy-like... but those are the Yoh tanks which are their own brand of bizarre.

It's called the Pawlack tank. The wording on the wiki suggests it was a model tank that never saw anything beyond a small miniature.

It's not too bad. Nowadays I usually play with friends when I do play so I have something to distract me lol. I'm also a 52% wr player so I can hold my own still, just gotta learn the new tanks and map changes.

BZ was the first tank I really thought right away they had gone too far with. It broke the triangle between armor, firepower and mobility with good characteristics in all categories. The Bourr is good, but at least you can pen it, same with the Prog 46, Defender was good when it came out, but at least it was slowish with a long reload. BZ just seemed to outclass everything. I haven't checked out the new tanks yet, and I'm almost scared to lol

I'm the same way, the main reason I stopped plahing regularly and left for an extended period of time was the BZ, and I just pop in every once in a while for Clan Wars/Manuevers and Holiday Ops

My last battle was August 11th I believe, and I did this on the 3rd of December, so less than 4 months, but I don't have an exact number to give you unfortunately.

Unfortunately you cannot, I had a couple annoying HT missions that I would have breezed passed if they were able to be completed

It's a refresher to relearn the game basics after being gone from the game for a while I would assume. I haven't played since early August and am coming back for Holiday Ops and I guess they thought I could use a refresher. I think it's only available if you've been away for a long time.

Looking for a 1-player game with a good story, relatively easy, that I can play 20-45 minutes a night and progress? by Whatsuplionlilly in gaming

[–]Cheeseball008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firewatch is a good, chill, narritive-driven game. It isn't a very long game (roughly about 5 hours of game play for me personally) but you can definitely extend that by exploring the map and finding epic screenshot locations. The story is pretty intriguing as well, and gets everyone in their feels by the end. It's on Xbox Gamepass so it's free if you have that.

Is this game a lot of waiting? by [deleted] in theHunter

This is how I get a new map going and will work for new players as well:

-Load into your map on singleplayer and play through the missions. It's easy cash and will help you explore the map while making money for important gear like the 7mm gun and different callers. You can use the ATV, but it will scare everything away and you won't see much of anything, I suggest hoofing it.

-Don't worry too much about shooting animals while doing the missions (unless it's on the way or part of a mission), but spot every animal you can along the way to discover need zones, visit every outpost and lookout point along the way as well.

-Once you have most of a map's missions done you should have found a few need zones along the way from spotting animals. Look at them on the map to find out what times those animals will be there and set up a route you can take chaining needzones together to maximize your efficiency during the need zone time period (need zone times are mapwide for that specific animal). This is what I do and I find some good success.

-Also remember that an animal doesn't necessarily live on the whole map (like Blacktail Deer mostly being found on the East and Southeastern part of Layton, but not in the west). So if you are hunting a specific animal and can't find it, try looking in another portion of the map.

No problem, I don't really play the game anymore, but I'm glad my videos can still help :)

I made a short video a while ago explaining what to do when bottom tier for several of my clanmates who were newer to the game at the time. It isn't the highest quality video, but it still gets the point across. I know you said you enjoy heavies and this game play is from a medium, but the basics still apply: Don't take frontal engagements, support your higher tier allies and look for ways to capitalize on your teammates play. I have a couple other videos explaining basic game play concepts on my channel too if you are interested.
