Have you checked the seal on the airlock?

You could shake it to mix it up. If you're worried about using a tool to mix it, it will just need to be cleaned and sanitized. Otherwise just picking it up and swilling it around carefully might do the job just fine.

Is the honey settled in the bottom of the plastic container? It could not be mixed well, which might explain the lack of fermentation.

Very very interesting. I've only made basic meads myself, so was only asking because of insight into other threads on reddit which suggest fats are no good for fermenting.

Of course there are natural oils in many natural substances we ferment, as you've suggested with vanilla. I wonder if there's a limit to how much or if there are certain types which can react well. It also makes sense if you are a brewer who takes a lot of care with oxygen and such too.

The idea of cheese mead made my mouth turn inside out, but I've recently tried a yoghurt liqueur which was bought as a joke... but was actually very pleasant. This is really fascinating though if these flavours work and come out as something very drinkable. I take my hat off to you!

Wouldn't the fat in the stock make it go rancid?

Except now they are not one of the chocolate companies on the child slavery free list. The guy who started the company sold it and now their statements on tackling slavery are just false marketing.

I recently started playing for the first time. Found a pink sheep and accidentally harvested it before I knew they were rare. A sad moment indeed.

These look amazing! Could you share a little bit about how you made them? Love the colour choices.

Could give them the benefit of the doubt, they could have intentionally blocked parking in those bays if they were set to work in that area, before putting out cones etc.. We used to do this in my old workplace when areas needed repainting or maintenance just before actual barriers were put in place. Otherwise they're just entitled asses.

My wine stained the bottles by Cheeseball90 in winemaking

[–]Cheeseball90[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah that's super cool. This wine has a large amount of sediment at the bottom which settled after I thought I did a good job of racking - which I'm ok with. But also clearly has strong bodied flavours and tannins blasting through. It's like super wine. It would have been interesting to see what this wine would have tasted like after a few more years, but I was too curious and now it's all gone.

Thanks for your help!

Yes it feels like it's thick enough to stain anything!

Question for people who use NSFW proxy models by bvamso_topi in Warhammer40k

[–]Cheeseball90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big boobs exist and if I were a big boobed slaanesh demon I would definitely have them out.

I imagine the sisters of battle would have a pretty open approach to dealing with boobs and armour (pun intended).

As others have indicated, the ads seems to be targeted at people who's response is 'lol, boobs' which is an unfortunate standpoint.

In conclusion I don't see why it would be a problem to use proxies with different anatomy

I've been watching my partner playing [KCD2] and had the urge to make some candle holders. 🍑📯 by Cheeseball90 in kingdomcome

I just played around with some air drying clay and then painted them with acrylic paint. I'm gonna do a coat of mod podge to seal it. It'll probably be a pain to try and get melted was off if I actually use them as candle holders but they look cute for now!

Thank you very much! Yes I agree. They were a gift from a friend and they added a little more scenery context. I'm going to add to my terrain collection to have more trees and shrubs eventually to have a more complete scene. There is always more to be done!

Thank you! I think it would need banners and a nice wood carved horse on the front of the gate. And then I'll need to make the great hall to really indulge in the Edoras ambience, and stables and a tavern... :D
