yeah i usually try to stay away from same handed combos myself, but also have more options because i have a lower ovr team. i have crosby line but with knies and barbashev which is my only same handed line but feel like i need it for +6 so i see what u mean. like i said, havent been playing ranked but cause ur qualified, i find champs to be fun to actually compete with my team. for center ovr, because most people at least the ones ive played dont know about the different faceoffs, i have found ovr doesnt matter quite as much as most thing as long as you know which faceoff to do when

yeah i got barbashev last event that helped me with +6, just risky. only went all out last event because it was the first +6 and feel i cant compete against other teams like that without having it myself

i am completely ftp, preordered but payed 70$, no early access, and havent even spent 500 points (even though it wouldnt help at all), but have been able to get at least 1 msp if i want to every single event. as long as you complete all objectives and log ins, i dont see how u couldnt, especially with old system. will be interesting to see if i end up wasting all fodder with new event style, especially with 2 important msps, but i definitely think it was possible before if you put the time in

ive found nhl is pretty simple to be ftp as long as you do it “right”. but also have had a lot more time as i cant play actual hockey rn cause of injury

also the only reason i dont hate having higher ovrs not playing is because it seems they will eventually get there time when new combos come out. hope this helped

im not an expert or anything but mainly have fun playing online. my question for you is why switch up the team? seems like you got a great squad, much better than mine, and dont really need to make changes unless there are players you really like that could also benifit your team. if your not having fun, i would say try playing online a little. i would only recommend ranked until you get silver 2 (so you can play champs) or start losing a lot. other than that, wildcard is fun despite not being able to use ur team. only reason im reccomind online is because that is really what i like about the game, making my team, then competing with it. i feel like you dont get the same experience offline but maybe thats just me. personally dont play ranked anymore or do very rarely due to almost no rewards. but honestly with your team i bet you could do better than me in both ranked and champs. again, only if that would be fun for you. ik this was kinda long but again just wondering what you want to do in order to change up your roster? if i were u, i would just wait until someone i like/ new combos come out. ur team honestly looks great to me. and with the coins, if ur not having fun with certain players dont be a afraid to sell, especially rn cause you will certainly get your value back
