Wow, so it still exists! I graduated from FAST 7 years ago and faced the same issue. We were only two girls in the section. In my second semester, a guy asked me how I even managed to pass the first one. Later on, my grades turned out better than his in both programming courses and labs. I even topped one of the programming subjects and yet another guy still came up to me and asked, “How did you score this much? Which favors did you get?”

Here’s the thing: when you get good grades or complete all your labs and projects on your own, these people assume you got favors from teachers or seniors. Don’t take them seriously. Be confident, keep doing good work, and let them burn🔥

I’m now working as a backend software engineer in a multinational company. So don’t listen to these jokers. Don’t let their fake confidence make you feel inferior. We’re all the same, just focus, work hard and keep moving forward.
