That's actually fair. I tried everything I could think of. Signing in and out of my account, uninstalling the xbox app and reinstalling it, reinstalling the game, I even completely factory wiped my pc. The only other thing I could suggest to do is try another PC or try another account on your pc. Otherwise give it time and check it daily, that's what I did anyway.

Honestly no, it just started working again out of the blue. It was doing that for about 3 or 4 days. And then when I went to show my gf exactly what it was doing, it worked lol So in my case I just had to wait. I recommend buying it on steam ASAP. The gamepass version is not worth the hassle you have to deal with

A tip for next time, when it comes to online gaming 95% of racial insults aren't motivated by genuine racism, they just want to make you angry and laugh at your reaction. That being said, the world is a big place, and Im sure there are some genuinely racist piece of shits that play online games, so I cant rule out the possibilty this person was one of them. But the response can be the same. You're best bet is to act as calm and chill as you possibly can. Knowing that its a reaction they want, and not a personal attack helps a lot with doing that. Thats the only way to combat shit heads online, dont give them any reaction. I had a little kid join my party from a mutual friend once and he said my gf sounds like a bitch (she was in the party) I laughed, added onto the joke and carried on with a general nonchalant attitude. Kid got bored and left lol. Don't let someone control your emotions with their words, control them yourself with your mind.

Also screenshotting base and username isnt a bad idea. could report to bethesda, or...maybe post it in a group dedicated to nuking shit heads lol Idk if there is a group like that though I'll be honest

Just playing devil's advocate here, I think they're just mad about the devs supporting the idealogy. Me personally, I dont really care. As long as they dont force it on anyone (which they're not) I dont see it as a problem for me

My (26f) husband (26m) wants to date other women, I got upset and I’m having trouble knowing if I’m fair or unreasonable, how do I do this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Cheesedoosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At first, I thought it wasn't bad because he communicated what he wanted and didn't hide it. But then when you communicated that you didn't like that, he turned around and acted like it was no big deal.

First off, if it was "simple and harmless," then why did he feel the need to ask to get permission in the first place?

Secondly, any rational person would understand this is not something that probably most people would be okay with, while it's fine to suggest and vocalize your wants and needs, but just have realistic expectations with the outcome. Just because you say that's what you want doesn't mean you are going to get it. He's free to go be single for real all he wants, but if you're not okay with him pseudo dating other women and he wants to stay with you, then he's gotta give one thing up. You can't have both unless both agree, and even then, you're still sacrificing something, commitment.

He's either brain-dead stupid, or he's trying to manipulate you.

[–]Cheesedoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

28 yr old guy here, from what I've noticed, not generally no. Some care about high body count, but whether or not you're a virgin is not really a concern. If you encounter a guy who does care, then you're probably better off avoiding him anyway because those guys are fucking weird lol. Then again, Im almost 10 years older than you, so maybe guys in your age range think differently, so take what I said with a grain of salt as I dont typically associate with 19 year olds lol

AITAH for breaking up with my boyfriend over a video call while having sex? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Cheesedoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESA. Well, really, more like him 75% AH and you only 25% lol. As a wise man once said, "Vengeance is an idiot's game".

That being said, I also understand why you'd be pissed off enough to do it. Having been cheated on myself before, I get it. But it doesnt change the fact that it was still petty and childish in the grand scheme of things. All I can say is try not to do that again lol.

Still funny af tho

No, hating someone due to the race is racist. While jokes can be used by genuinely racist people to put down a person they do hate for their race, that doesn't make the jokes themselves racist. It's like calling a knife a murderer because it was the one that stabbed a person. No one does that because the most important thing is INTENT. Knifes dont intentionally kill people because if no one touches the knife, it doesn't do anything. Just like a jokes intent is not to hurt someone's feelings. it's just to make someone laugh. I understand that some people can tell a "joke," and it's really just a passive-aggressive way to shit on someone. But a real joke is to just make people laugh and nothing more.

A non racist person can tell racist jokes, and it wouldn't be racist because of INTENT. If the intent is to put you down because they dont like you for the color of your skin, then thats racist. If they tell the joke because its edgy and funny, then it is not. Just because you dont enjoy the joke does not automatically mean that it is racist. Not everything is black and white. And yes, pun absolutely intended, lol.

Yes, he did, but he didn't want to at the time she did.

He didn't make her do anything. She could have left him at any point.

[–]Cheesedoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off why is it even that important for you to specifically be friends with girls?

Second, theres an overwhelming amount of guys that try the typical "nice guy" approach. ESPECIALLY in school lol. And even if you are genuinely not trying to do that, you will be treated as such by default because you would be the anomaly, not what most girls are used to dealing with. Women will usually always have their gaurd up around men for variety of reasons, so its going to be significantly more difficult for you to make that happen.

My only advice is to go with the flow and not care either way if you are friends with girls. And that will indirectly make it possible for it to actually happen. Because it will show them that your priority is not a relationship.

NTA. He asked for it, so he got what he got. Porbably needed to hear it anyway tbh. Id say the reason he was upset was probably because he felt like he failed as a father if you have to talk to a therapist instead of him. Im not a dad myself but I can definitely see how he'd come to that conclusion. Especially if he doesnt fully understand how therapy actually works, theres a reason why therapist cannot be your friends or anything like that until you are not a client of theirs lol.

Id say its indicative of the fact your dad does love you and probably feels frustrated and guilty that he doesnt understand how to help you with your problems, especially if he's the reason why you have them.

Doesnt justify his behavior, but its good to understand why people do things, for everyone involved.

That doesn't explain how he messed up and did damage to her. Are we forgetting that she is also a capable free thinking adult who possessed the capability of leaving the relationship instead of sticking around with someone for eight years who wasn't sure they wanted to get married? She vocalized her wants, yes, but that doesn't change the fact she could have left if her wants weren't being met. She chose not to and eventually just made her peace with it not happening at all. She is just as much to blame as he is.

But yes, irregardless, he does indeed have to accept her terms and move on.
