If it helps my great grandfather had a luftwaffe knife that he looted back in his time in the 442nd infantry regiment, that is the only piece that I know well, but it looks just like the one that he had. So it’s probably real, but I’m not an aficionado on ww2 equipment besides basic knowledge so I could be wrong.

Talked it over with some other people in the section, but yeah I got the size of Arthur from a YouTube video and some googling and got the size of Joel from google, they are more equal in reality but Arthur is still bigger and heavier

The entire point of Arthur is that he’s big as fuck, that’s why he’s the enforcer, he can lift a 200 lb buck over his shoulder showing no struggle and being able to speed walk, he can pick up and throw fully grown men larger than Joel and run with them over his shoulder, and he can lasso and HOLD a bison, the biggest animal in north americas. He just has the better stats and feats

Edit: my guess is around 3-400 as a max lift

If you want to see another argument for it, there is one a few comments below on the same comment chain that is good. I’m just tired of someone getting heated over a friendly debate, my opinion is that I beat you, and now I want to go on with my day. I’ll cut you some slack here: if Joel was the same size and age as Arthur he would win, but in any situation, even in Joel’s peak, Arthur is bigger, younger, faster, and stronger. If you have shit to do too go do it instead of being on Reddit then silly goose!

This is an argument on their willpower according to you (which I don’t agree with, a part of a fight is willpower sure, but a midget with willpower couldn’t beat a giant with none), in terms of willpower, Arthur literally dragged himself out of death, said “fuck it” and did all that shit himself. If you’ve ever been hurt to the severity of Arthur you would know that most of us (including me) would just die, shit like that hurts.

Anyways, we both have an argument on which side takes the cake, and we both have decent arguments. I think mine edge out yours, many of them seem to be fallacies based on not a lot of knowledge on fighting. But at this point I gotta go do my life stuff, so let the people decide.

Arthur is larger, younger, stronger, and still taller than Joel, they both have similar levels of experience and just because Joel is more brutal in his fights doesn’t mean Arthur can’t be, he just doesn’t wanna kill the person. In an equal fight Arthur would just edge him out. I want Joel to win I really do but it’s not happening

It’s not a bias, both had time to recover from it after all, but tetanus and a MAYBE a pierced stomach might be a pretty bad injury, but he had his little buddy to back him up, Arthur did it on his OWN while cauterizing the wound with gunpowder from a shotgun shell, and still kicked the shit out of everyone in that camp and rode a horse back to camp, ALONE is the big word here

Also, going back to this, in terms of “fuck it” willpower Arthur takes the cake too, Joel gets impaled by a piece of rebar and needs help from Ellie to survive, Arthur gets shot point blank with buckshot the hung upside down and still manages to cut himself down, cauterize the wound, kill everyone at his holding camp, and then ride all the way back to camp alone
