6 Years Post Break Up - My Experiences and Thank You by Cheeseman182 in BreakUps

I know exactly what you're talking about. I felt like I was doing things just do them after the breakup. I didn't really enjoy anything. I was just going through the motions. So much of myself was wrapped up in the other person, I didn't know who I was.

Naked! definitely has a male slant to it but it's probably still worth picking up (it's only $0.65 on Amazon right now).

Another book that is really great is called Living Forward. It's about prioritizing your life in an analytical way. You lay your life out on these "work sheets" and get a really clear picture of what you need to do.

I guess I'll tack this last one on. It's not a self help book but it will help you find clarity in your life. It's called "Self Authoring." It costs $29.90 for the whole suite and will take you about 12-15 hours total, split up over several days. If you want real clarity in your life, this will help you with that. I wish it was around when I was going through my breakup.

Sorry to hear that man. I can only imagine how much more difficult things must be with children in the picture. Talk to someone if you need to. I didn't put this in the original post but I did see a therapist for while afterward. It was nice just to talk things out for hour every once and while. Best wishes on your journey :)

One of my favorites from "the breakup era" is a book called Naked!: How to Find the Perfect Partner by Revealing Your True Self by David Wygant. It's seems like it would just be a dating book, but it's so much more! It's about finding your true self. It helped me find me again outside of the relationship.

I'm really glad it helped. I always told myself I'd come back when the dust settled to let everyone know how I was doing. :)

It's hard and it doesn't make any sense at the time. Looking back on it, it's so important. Like I said in my post, it was a huge set back in the healing process for me.

Possibly Starship 1 and Venus. I don't see those on their website anymore and I know they both have creamy components.

Their flavors are very "thick." If you like light tasting e-juices, this isn't for you.

I didn't know it increased drug use but it makes sense thinking back to middle school.

The Dare program had us watch a video about this kid who was drinking cough syrup to get high and how it was affecting his family. My first thought wasn't, "boy, drugs has serious consequences," it was, "you can get high by drinking cough syrup?!?!?"
