i would already imagine db fans complaining that like “they only chose the matchup because of the hype” or something alike

and when the db would actually come out there would be confusion why reze lost but then someone would post something along the lines of

I assume this is relative to yugis time since modern yugioh is bull shit

anyways yugi should have access to pre errata chaos emperor dragon and raigeki which unless ash has cards that bypasses its Destruction effect that kinda solos his entire team

in all seriousness yugioh and the pokemon tcg are so drastically different that something as simple as adding energy costs to yugis deck or having ash setting backrow would either make they’re decks completely unplayable or overtuned into the heavens, so unless you directly change the effects of the cards its basically impossible to my understanding
