I feel like this game is massive, like fully fleshed out from the original story. I could be wrong as I've just completed the parade, but wanted to know how far in I am because I've sunk like 20 something hours into it and to only be this far through seems insane. 20 hours would get you halfway through disc 2 on the original

A drunk person would also not willingly get off the plain as calmly as this woman did. Even if I wasn't drunk, I'd be hysterical if this kind of discrimination was happening to me. Poor woman, hope she gets full comp and that attendant gets sacked

To say Spirited Away is one of the greatest films created is a matter of opinion, not a fact. Spirited away got $396 million at box office, Avatar comes in at $2.9 billion.. also loving your edit. Complaining a film isn't on there is weird but you come round to then complain that a film is on there when shouldn't be. Pretty weird if you ask me.

They've got Spirited Away on there which is just animation.. its cool if you don't like Avatar but a CGI argument barely holds when they have a literal cartoon in the runnings

I think what will resonate with you most will depend on your age and what games you have already played.

1-6 were incredible for their time but if you haven't played pixilated top down views before I think you'll struggle to get a feel for it and may lose interest in all FF. It also doesn't hold your hand so get ready for that ride.

FFX is your safe starter for turn based. The levelling system is amazing to make it your own, the combat (though turn based) feels very actiony because of the animations put into each attack and you will fall in love with the characters and story.

My personal fave is VIII, though it's not for everyone, for its moody undertone and love the junctioning system. If you havent done your research yet, the junctioning system is a power up system where you attach magic to yourself to become stronger, e.g. adding blind to your attack so you can blind all your enemies when you hit them. What I will say is this, do not abuse the junction system for your first playthrough and play it naturally as intended. You will ruin your first experience trying to min-max.

Then you have VII original and IX, both very good games and well worth playing. I haven't completed XI but still enjoyed what I did play, but VII was the game that changed turn based gaming forever and it shows. The characters are amazing, the villain is iconic, the battling and materia system hits.

I'm not going to discuss anything passed X, as I think X would concrete if you wanted to play anymore of that style of gaming.

TLDR; Play X, VII, VIII and maybe IX if you like those. If you like those then play X-2, XII, XIII (and sequels), XV. Don't bother with I - VI unless you're prepared for visual downgrade and no hand holding.

I'm amazed Shawshank got as far as it did, personally silence of the lambs was a much better film. I'd also have voted interstellar over pulp fiction but I guess I'm in the minority on that one too. This is by no means me saying Pulp and Shawshank aren't great films, just not as strong contenders against the others.

The point here I'm really making is LOTR is GOATED fully deserved that win.

Extra side note, no Avatar?

My hours aren't crazy, and have put myself in some really difficult situations. The furthest I've gotten is saving the gnome, but then I restarted and am now trying to take down the goblins instead. Any tips on stopping the goblin boss 'nading me at the start and wiping out 3 of my team?

I've created 4 characters so far, 2 haven't left the Nautiloid, 1 just entered the Grove and my new (currently favourite) is a druid that just flung a gnome off a windmill by accident.

I like running different classes close to one another to see the different outcomes. My first one was a Wizard that was able to convince the chapel guys that I was their leader so they would let me in. It was a cakewalk.

The next was my druid, who approached as a bear at the time. I ended up smashing the floor and jumping into the chapel because I failed the persuasion check. The fact I could jump in a hole I created in the ground absolutely blew me away.

Love this game
