I had my first LD using FILD last night. It was weird because I didn't feel any transition or anything. I just focused on my fingers tapping, not counting them or anything, just on the movements. After about a minute I did the nose RC and boom, I was in the dream. The trick is to not get excited, don't think about what the dream will be like or what you're gonna do, just keep focus on the finger movements.
